Good but coating peels off

Coating peels off very easily. I had antennas for $10 less but they were much more durable. Does not affect operation. It just looks like shit.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Available in white only

Defective antenna on car and car electronics

The antenna does not work. I hired a professional installer to install it on my boat because I couldn't get it to work. The installer tried everything and finally found that the antenna was broken.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I will not say anything

Good quality for the price

Good quality for the price. The extra height extended the range of my radio, which is what I wanted. Easy to install and requires no technical knowledge. Very clear instructions.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • High price

Great Antenna: Sea Antennas

My original antenna broke, I bought this as a replacement and it was upgraded from the original antenna, it lasts a lot longer than the old one, which is what I was looking for as we are quite far away from the coast.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Useless Features

Great antenna, great price!

A branch broke my 8ft Shakespearean VHF antenna. I've made a few purchases and found this to be the best value for money. Don't pay double the price at your local marine supply store! Great antenna at a great price!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • No gun

love at first sight

arrived quickly and on time. They should make it clear that if you don't have a base you'll have to buy one, which is why I thought it was around half the price of the others listed.

Pros
  • one year probationary period
Cons
  • socket required

It's really shorter!

My husband ordered this and noticed the mention of reduced shipping, but he didn't consider that the antennas were shorter than our previous one (8ft). Once installed, it didn't fit the bracket we previously had, so we had to put in a new one (drilling holes in the boat was never a desirable option). The antennas work perfectly, but before you buy, think about storage!

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Reliability

Although the outer shipping box was undamaged, the cardboard tube product packaging was split 3/4 as if someone had attempted to open and view the product prior to shipping. Please explain? The product is not damaged so I will try to install it but I need to pay a boat mechanic to install it so I hope it works. It's a big pain to return this package and get a new one when the seller doesn't think I should.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

Functional, practical, inexpensive, easy to install.

I had to replace an existing similar antenna due to a boating accident that damaged my previous one. I was able to reinstall the new antenna set in less than 30 minutes. Soldering skills are required to make the final connection of the plug to the back of the radio after the wire has been routed to the desired location. Quite easy. Request a 'radio check' on VHF channel 16 to confirm it was working and was immediately given a resounding 'radio check loud and clear skipper' from a boatmate.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No
