Vici VC99 3 6/7 LCD Multimeter Tester: Manual/Auto, Digital, Auto Range, Volt, Ammeter, Ohm, Analog Bar - Efficient Testing Meter Review

Response time is incredibly slow compared to a blood glucose meter but other than that it's amazing value for money and I will definitely be buying more. As maintenance managers of industrial plants, we use this on a daily basis. I use this meter every day in a 3 phase industrial environment and it has proven to be reliable and accurate.

I will not write a long review if you need a multimeter with a large display and autoranging. With a nice clicky selector, this is a great choice! it is not highlighted but that would be the only thing I would pay more for. But since it's so cheap, I can't complain. The stand isn't very good, the only complaint is that it's flimsy because it moves the entire unit when switching modes.

I bought this a few months ago. After having it and using it fairly heavily for a while, it seemed normal. Then I did The Accidental and the fuse blew. It's okay, I had spare parts. So I thought. 4 screws were needed to open it. Then I realized there were 10 more screws to remove and you actually had to pull out the circuit board to replace the fuse yourself. Good value for money and if I had to fault anything it would be the pass through tone which isn't loud enough but not many brands I used back then were like that. Update 12/27/2015: This counter is no longer functional. Disassembly revealed that the contacts under the function button were worn, one of which was almost broken in half. Unacceptable.
