The Timeless Wonder: Slinky 60100 Original Brand Unleashes Classic Fun Review

I hung this on the shepherd's hook that holds the bird feeder. The squirrels try to jump on it to get to the feeding station, but end up grabbing the slinky and sliding back to the ground like a little "squirrel elevator". Rzhunimagu!

Doesn't work on stairs, baby is not impressed at all. Choose the "giant" version or choose a longer stamp as being thinner makes it useless. It seems to work excellently as a squirrel repellent, but as this is not an advertised use I have to discard it.

This is the only reason I bought it - but I think it's my fault and I should have read the reviews first. This cover is too small for normal stairs. My kid started stretching it and twisting it around other objects instead. She ended up ruining the spool. Now it should be processed. For us it was a toy "for a day". :-(

My 2 year old loves tight toys but he messes up plastic toys in record time. I bought four plastic ones from the dollar store and they all got tangled up in less than a week. He got this metal for Christmas and it was a HUGE hit. He plays with him every day and knows no mercy. He's still in the same shape as day one. I'm impressed with the quality and I really like that my son is enjoying the traditional toy.

This is NOT the original skinny shoe as other reviews say. Obviously they trimmed it to reduce production costs and increase profits like so many other things these days. It's almost impossible to get it down the stairs, and rolling it back and forth between your arms makes it feel noticeably "shorter" and far less satisfying. Super disappointment and I feel completely misled and taken advantage of as a consumer.

Doesn't work like the "old" Slinks of my youth. They are too small in diameter and cannot take more than two steps before twisting. WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE A GOOD SLINK LIKE THE OLD DAYS? They're not as good and certainly not as I remember them. I ordered these because my 4 year old daughter spotted the tight dress when she won a cheap plastic dress at Chuck E. Cheese. We bought this to wrap around the pole that holds our birdhouses. Squirrels love occupying our birdhouses and we wanted something to stop them from eating all the bird seed. Well it works like a charm! We wrapped the stretch fabric around the top of the T-bar, leaving it hanging about halfway down the stem. When the squirrels run up the pole and onto the narrow fitting, they'll take the elevator down! It doesn't harm squirrels, but it saves birds with bird seed. We've been using Slinks this way
