Stickers won't stick

After this product was delivered, I went to my bathroom and first made sure my bathroom was completely dry. I placed the decals on the bottom of my tub and pressed firmly to make sure each one was properly placed. I then let it dry for 4-6 hours before putting my son in the bath. After about 10 minutes, the stickers started popping up. Only one got stuck. I'm not sure if my sticker pack is bad, but I really expected it to last more than a 30 minute bath once. I am very disappointed in the…

Very mediocre adhesion

If you want to buy them, you should order at least two packs. How many of these you put in your tub will determine how many packs you need. I have a toddler at home and wanted to be a little more on the floor in the tub. The problem with this is that they don't all stick well. You'll probably need to replace some after a few months. I followed the directions and did what you were supposed to do, but didn't get the entire required amount of glue on the back. Who knows. You can get lucky and most

Stickers came off after a shower

Half of the stickers came off after a shower. I followed the directions and advice of other reviewers. I washed the tub thoroughly with dish soap. Then I cleaned it again with baking soda. I took care not to leave stains in the bathroom. I dried off with a towel and then let the tub air dry for a few hours. Then I glued the stickers on, being careful not to touch the glue. I made sure the stickers were firmly attached. After that, the shower was not used for 24 hours. So basically it was a…

Easy to install but doesn't last long

Still in the process of installing them - we're waiting 12 hours for them to dry - but they were easy to install! You need to wash, dry and clean the entire tub with alcohol. I find this to be an important step to remove oils from the tub that could potentially prevent the glue from sticking properly. You'll also have to rub and press them fairly hard to make them stick to the tub. A little time and patience should pay off. The grain doesn't look too coarse either. Final change: They didn't…

WORKS GREAT: Bathroom Accessory

I have a clawfoot bath and couldn't find the right mat. I don't have much flat surface so thought I'd give it a try and damn I'm glad I did! See my other reviews, I don't give it a 5 easily. They look great, have lasted and I don't fall on mine. I've seen 1 and 2, they all say they followed the direction but I'm not sure. My tub is old and has a few chips and lots of scratches so not a very smooth surface. I just cleaned it with water and a coarse sponge, after about an hour I came back and put

Poor adhesion is best in bathroom accessories

I wanted people to like this product, I really did! First, I prepared the bath very carefully before applying them. By thoroughness I mean I rubbed it down with baking soda and a sanding sponge, then rubbed it down again with 90% isopropyl alcohol to make sure there was absolutely no residue here that would interfere with adhesion (mainly based on other reviews here). ). I then applied them, pressed down firmly with a rubber J-roller and allowed to cure for 48 hours. Everything looked fine for…

Don't buy this. suitable for bathrooms

This is terrible. I bought two sets, installed the first set in my guest bathroom after thoroughly cleaning the tub and waiting all night for it to dry completely. I deliberately knelt on the floor next to the tub on Sunday and pressed every detail down. I knew no one would be using that restroom until Thursday. So they had plenty of time to stay and like I said, I put pressure on every single one of them. Well, they didn't get along. By Friday, more than half of them had peeled off. So I…

Have you ever seen those National Geographic shows where a seal slides off an iceberg and into the sea? This is what I looked like when I slipped and fell in the shower last week. Luckily, I fell in one smooth, flowing motion and only fractured a rib (I'm a 375th fat man, by the way). So far it has worked VERY well. The trick is to clean the bath properly before using it. I sprinkled baking soda on the surface of the tub, then sprayed white vinegar on it to create a "paste" and rubbed it in…

Apply gently, then rub in with a wooden spoon.

I was nervous about installing after reading the reviews. I have an old Kohler tub with slightly textured stripes on the bottom that were no longer effective. I scrubbed the tub thoroughly with a soft scrub and an abrasive nylon sponge. I rinsed the surface thoroughly and wiped with a microfiber cloth. I let the surface dry for a few hours and then buffed the surface again with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any cleaner residue. In the meantime I pulled the stickers apart leaving the…
