Good tripod binoculars.

Works very well. It fits in my big old 10x50 binoculars, so it fits in almost any regular pair of binoculars. It is a bit difficult to adjust the distance between the eyepieces when the glasses are used by more than one person. I recommend using a good quality standard size tripod. Small table tripods are not stable or strong enough. Your tripod should have an easily adjustable pan and tilt head. The mount has a standard 1/4-20 female mounting hole that fits any standard tripod.

More than just binoculars

I bought the Snapzoom bino holder as an alternative to my current bino adapter. It is very easy to set up, just attach the tripod base plate to it and snap it onto the tripod. While I'm out in the field, all you have to do is strap on your binoculars. This makes it very quick and easy to switch from walking and observing to sitting and from using a tripod to observing in the field. I also found it to be a very stable platform to rest the rifle on while shooting. Haven't tried my spotting scope…

Decent quality and work.

I like the mount, it works, good quality and perfect for my needs. I use a tripod mount with a small pair of binoculars, mostly in a stationary position, to view hummingbirds. The Velcro allows you to apply the necessary force to fix the binoculars in place, and the rubber base at the connection of the binoculars to the mount offers additional protection against the binoculars slipping. I haven't had any issues with the tension on the strap causing my binoculars to come loose. I'm not sure how…

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • I'm nervous

I have binoculars with a 9x63 roof prism without a tripod adapter screw. I've been looking for an inexpensive, functional tripod stand for a long time and came across this Snapzoom module. As you can see from the photos, this large binocular keeps it simple and convenient. The only small issue is that all my tripod "shoes" have two holes while this unit only has one, so you have to be careful how you line it up when tightening the adapter screw. Otherwise exactly what I was looking for, great…

Works well but difficult to fix when binoculars are angled

It's well made and generally works as intended but there is a caveat. Works best when you can lay the binoculars completely flat and mount them securely. But for myself (like probably most users) I have to adjust my Nikon Trailblaze binoculars (which don't seem to have a tripod mount) to a comfortable angle to adjust the distance between my eyes. Then the binoculars go out of plane and have to be fixed with a bar with some tension, otherwise they will go flat. This works well at low viewing…

Secure fit and adjustment for most binoculars

I purchased this binocular tripod mount for a pair of full size Vortex binoculars as I've read that the Vortex binocular mount is not the easiest to install and remove . This mount allows you to quickly switch between binoculars in a chest strap and a tripod for hunting, wildlife viewing, barn hunting, etc. The base feels solid - good non-slip material to attach the binoculars to and the plastic feels solid enough. - and the tie cord adjusts easily with a hook and loop closure system on one…

  • Quick Change

Great quality, better than expected, secure fit!

I used this mounting plate on the AZ mule hunt. It has performed extremely well as a universal mounting option for multiple binoculars, especially a laser range finder that does not have a screw/strut in the center/bridge mount option. several times more expensive, underorder, not first class delivery. I recommend attaching the binoculars, attaching them, then detaching them and tightening the velcro an additional 1/4 inch, and then bungee-tying them securely. the end. The bungee/shock cord…

Perfect mounting system, ideal for compact binoculars!

I am very excited and impressed with this versatile binocular mount, it is a very ingenious and easy way to attach and mount any binoculars. The attachment mechanism consists of a nylon Velcro strap connected to a bungee cord that securely pulls a spring down onto the binoculars. The foam pad has the perfect consistency and stickiness, it prevents the mounted binocular from shifting and sliding and keeps it in place without damaging the binocular. Mounting pad meaning it can mount any compact…

It works like an advertisement for the price

I bought a Leica 3200.COM 10x42 range finder binoculars. I wanted to mount it on a tripod so I started looking for mounts. I wanted something light yet strong, easy to install yet visually stable. I have bought various mounts including this one. Arrived on time if not for the early packaging was good. I liked the fact that it had a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) neoprene layer covering the entire surface. I really like the fact that instead of rubber it had a decent bit of elastic in a piece of velcro…
