I love this wire in solder and flux

VERY flexible wire and I really liked it. Easy for 3D design assignments when a professor asks for wire designs. Just cheat.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Really needed some solder and it fit the bill.

I really needed two lot sizes for my projects and they really did the job. Really good price for how much solder came. I will buy again when I run out.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Weight

Great price for 2 rolls of solder

This is the perfect duo for our home. The rolls arrived sealed in a box. Wires without damage, without kinks, kinks and broken turns. Excellent quality. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Quick start guide

I am happy with the purchase. I recommend.

It's convenient to have two lot sizes, but there isn't much lot on the reels. I have already used some of the smaller ones when replacing the cable connectors in the charger and they work well. It's easy to use and offers a good, solid connection.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Small things

Easy to manipulate. Really good for fine soldering.

Anotek Lot is not revolutionary. It's 60/40 lead solder. I recently messed up a connection on a radio and my 1.2mm solder was too thick to manipulate as needed. I chose this material in 0.8mm and it worked great to reattach the surface mount resistor I messed up. I rarely do this type of work so I practiced a bit first to see how this solder would perform. It was high in rosin, melted on contact, rolled well on the pads, and had good stickiness to stick where it needed to be, not on my iron…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

A good starter kit for hobbyists and beginners.

Prompt delivery, excellent/reliable packaging/good product quality. Two packs of different sizes according to your needs. The rosin core was used for electronics while the gauge wires were used for toys and tools. This is not suitable for plumbing copper pipe as described by the seller. The price is very competitive. Can't ask for more :-) Nice starter kit for hobbyists and beginners.

Pros
  • Good quality solder wire: flows well and heats up evenly, easy to use. Good solderability in terms of electrical and thermal conductivity; Soldering is done quickly with a soldering coil.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Difficult to clean when used on stained glass

from my stained glass. I used the "flux cleaner" that I usually use when I'm just using flux and then soldering the parts. I literally had to scrape the rosin off with a precision knife to remove it from my piece. There may be an easier way to clean the rosin that I'm not aware of. The only reason I rate it so low is the difficulty in cleaning rosin.

Pros
  • Solder wire composition: 60% tin and 40% lead. Melting point 190°C / 374°F, quick and easy, rosin core with 2% flux, no additional flux needed
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
