Tedious work but useful enough.

They work most of the time but the hole seems to be too big which is why it just doesn't suck. There's a good chance it's user error, but when you get it to work it works as intended. I'll say it's better to have than not to have.

Pretty heavy for a simple concept

Bigger and not quite what I expected. Maybe not suitable for the job. I tried to fix the dashboard and I couldn't set the window cool and heat times to use it. Now they sit on my drawer and do nothing.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Speed

waste of money. Didn't suck an iota of solder.

Doesn't work at all. I soldered some spare capacitors onto the TV power board and tried many times to siphon off the melted old solder. Not once did he suck the solder out. It wasn't expensive but a waste of my money.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some flaws

These things suck. soldering that is!

I've tried using a wick but they work much better in tight spots or when trying to get solder out of a PCB hole. I've only used this for a few jobs, but it worked fine. Don't know about durability/durability but I have 3 of these so it's probably a lifetime supply for me.

Thin-walled solder sucker

Good solder sucker set. They seem to be working fine. but cannot last very long in use. thin-walled aluminum is enough to get the job done but feels cheap. The vacuum is sufficient to suck up the solder. However, once you get the solder in the tube it will be difficult to decide. It is not unscrewed, but pressed in. Parts can be taken apart, but that's not a good process.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not the best
