The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I shoot goods with this lens for my online store, it turned out that I sell used Minolta af and Sony A lenses for Sony Alpha, I send cash on delivery throughout the country! But it is this lens that I use when I need to remove the condition of the goods, go here I recommend it to anyone who needs a good lens on the Sony Nex, the rest are too expensive.

Pros
  • Excellent sharpness! This is one of the best 50mm lenses not only among Sony
Cons
  • There are misses, but rather it's a camera problem

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

I took it after I played with the manual Helios-44 Working aperture f / 1.8 4, shutter speed 1/10 vs. 1/50, well, I didn’t use half-lengths from Canon and Nikon, but I saw pictures from them in the open, the subject definitely makes them in the open, originals saved, EXIF too

Pros
  • Quiet (some complained about some sounds, listened, did not hear anything) aperture Sharp on the open Light Good stabilization, at a shutter speed of 1/10 even at 1/50 you can get a blur.
Cons
  • It does not focus very quickly, especially in low light, the focusing time can be 2-3 Chromatic aberrations in the open - sometimes they are visible only at 100% magnification, and sometimes they are immediately evident.

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

With its pros. excellent sharpness at a fully open aperture of 1.8 . beautiful bokeh, very quiet operation Has cons: just like all half-lengths, it often smears - it is corrected by setting the central focus point, XA are the same as on half-tones 1,8 and 1,4 from a DSLR

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Purchased in addition to Sony a6000 at the beginning of June this year. During the entire period of operation, I have never left a bad impression about myself, everything is always sharp and hits, in general, I strongly recommend it as the most wonderful portrait lens for the money. Bought in one well-known store at a perfectly reasonable price Pros below: - very sharp - does not chromate - always hits very accurately and without misses - excellent design - nice appearance With its cons.…

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

If there is no money for 35, then 50 is the same. It's worth spending money on. After all, it is beautiful for a portrait and for many other things. By the way, his bokeh is very interesting, if the background allows . there will be a beautiful picture Got pros: robust and reliable design in principle working 1.8 stabilizer good both for photo and video shooting (in principle, I didn’t shoot much with it in the manual, but why if there was enough autofocus where necessary) Has some cons…

in my opinion, the best E-mount lens I've tried (except for Zeiss ones, I don't have them). I always take it with me, even on trips. Sharpness in the center is excellent, soft portrait drawing to the waist, which does not require fine-tuning in Photoshop. I don’t take full-length and group photos with him - there is a small depth of field on an open hole, someone is definitely out of focus. If you clamp the aperture, then there is no point in this lens, set it to 18-55 or 16-50, you will get…

Pros
  • aperture, sharpness in the center, excellent bokeh
Cons
  • slow autofocus, big size

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

I wanted fifty dollars for a long time, I used to shoot on a manual takumar of the 70s through an adapter, but I decided, now, to please myself. I can't say enough good things about the lens. Strong HA, it focuses very uncertainly and slowly (this generally applies to the Nexus, but especially with fifty dollars), and therefore I shoot in DMF mode in low light or special scenes - and here the large stroke of the focus ring is very annoying - while there is no distance scale . It catches some…

Pros
  • he is. good bokeh. stabilization. working f1.8
Cons
  • sometimes just hellish HA; a very large stroke of the focus ring (in manual mode), on which there is no distance scale; not purebred rabbits.

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

After the firmware upgrade, autofocus began to work quickly and clearly, even the very cool Eye-AF and Lock-on AF. When focusing over a wide zone, the front focus is consistently small, but when choosing the central zone, everything is accurate. In general, the picture quality is good. It is, how to say it - just good, without any special emotions. Bokeh is blurred well, sharpness and contrast are reduced on an open hole, especially at the edge of the frame, which is good for portraits…

Pros
  • all autofocus modes are available with a6000, good picture quality, small size and weight, presence of a stabilizer
Cons
  • Electronic manual focus - absolute evil! For this price, it could have been 1.4 - the difference in depth of field on an open hole is significant

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

The nex 5 camera and this glass are no worse than the nikon D90 + 35mm 1.8 DSLR, the difference in focusing speed, but I’m not going to catch the moment the arrow takes off from the crossbow))) I’ve been an amateur photographer for 12 years, I went through everything from soap dishes to good DSLRs, I understand about than I say. It’s worth its money, I took exactly for a gold piece - a little expensive, I would like it to be cheaper, but glasses of the same quality on a mirror cost the same.…

Pros
  • I bought it yesterday, I just managed to take a couple of dozen photos and I can say for sure that this is the best lens for the money, sharpness, stabilizer and noiselessness. Portraits, still lifes, etc. - ideal. For view shooting, the angle of view is narrow, I will look for a sharp wide-angle.
Cons
  • They are not, it is possible to achieve chromatism, but it is insignificant.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

The presence of a stub makes this glass unique. Night, bars and concerts are his element, you can shoot hand-held at 1/10. I also want to note the bokeh, which is soft, unlike Nikon's D-fifties, and at the same time with character, unlike Nikon's G-fifties. It is very reminiscent of the blur in Minolta 50mm 1.7, while you can cover the hole up to 2.8 - the nuts start only from 3.2. Good glass, I recommend.

Pros
  • Optical stub, sharpness, autofocus accuracy, beautiful bokeh, metal body,
Cons
  • Long length, the design is ugly in my opinion, they could have done at least in black. On my copy, the aperture hole is uneven if you cover already 5.6, it’s also a pity that there are not 9 petals. Someone complains about soapy corners up to f / 4, but so far I have only shot portraits and in the corners I needed blur on the contrary :)
