GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! HUGE CAGE FOR GREAT VALUE!

Great cage and even more impressed by Rowland Direct Wholesale! I was really nervous about ordering with some of the reviews talking about how the cage came beaten up, bars were bent, hard to put together with no instructions, it was cheap etc. Apparently no one actually contacted the company with their damage or issues with the cage. Our cage came with a damaged side panel and front panel that had bars that were too long for the cage, so it would not bend back properly. I contacted the company

Pros
  • The included slide-out tray makes cleaning this bird cage incredibly easy
Cons
  • The cage may require frequent replacement of accessories due to wear and tear

Great cage and great customer service

I bought this cage when my two parakeets started fighting after being housed together for years. I wanted them to stay near each other but could no longer trust them to be together without supervision. This cage looked perfect so I gave it a go, and my birds LOVE it! They were so happy to be next to each other again (as I had to separate them into smaller cages while we waited for it) and they loved the size! It has since been nicknamed their "condo" and I think they would rate it 5 stars too…

Pros
  • The wrought iron construction ensures durability, ensuring that your birds are safe and secure
Cons
  • The cage may be difficult to store when not in use

Great Cage, Guide for the Where Screws Go included in review:

OK! So I’be actually had a few of these style cages in the last, which made it moderately easier to piece together. The instructions are crap ONLY because they don’t tell you what screws go where. I’ve marked their instruction sheet with the following:Smallest screws: These are for all parts of the cages themselves and the top supports of the stand (outside connections only)Medium screws with larger diameter and the matching washers/nuts: for all other connections on the stand EXCEPT the middle

Pros
  • Mcage
Cons
  • The cage may not provide enough ventilation for birds

This company must have read the reviews. Quality control is lacking for this product, but overall I am satisfied. I have just made my 3rd order to this company for this exact cage. My flock consists of green cheek conures and cockatiels (rescues, not breeders). These enclosures are large enough for 2 cockatiels to be comfortable together on 1 side. I do not use the wood perches or the plastic bowls, but the metal shelves/ladders are very nice.Issues have been:A mistake on my first order - 2 of…

Pros
  • Slide out Bottom Grate and Slide out bottom pan
Cons
  • The cage may require frequent maintenance to prevent rust and damage to the wrought iron

minimal insructions for assemblyAlso missing a crucial part for cage support I reached to the rhird party seller but have had no responseI want to return it but it will be a pain to unassemble and ship back Ill wair a few days to see if the seller responds to my request for part replacmentUpdate: seller contacted me, I explained the problem with the missing piece and they said they would send asap! And they did! I got it today! Really good customer service changing to 5 stars!

Pros
  • Bird Safe Non-Toxic powder coated finish
Cons
  • The cage may be too tall for some caregivers to reach the top levels easily

Value for the money

First, you get what you pay for. At $200, this is not an expensive cage considering the size. It is not a heavy duty cage. The size is perfect for keeping my birds " together” while still separating the males from the females. I put a piece of wood over the whole top, knowing the cats will want to lay on top, and knowing the wires on top may not stand up to the weight of multiple cats, including 14lbs Johnny Cash, the cat in black. I did not use the ramps, as I don’t feel the birds will use…

Pros
  • EXTRA LARGE and Durable Double Flight Breeding Bird Cage With Center Divider
Cons
  • The cage may not be suitable for outdoor use

Good, no, great for the money!

Wow, I am very impressed! For the money I paid, I expected the quality to be not great but it is decent and the cage is sturdy. They are bigger than I thought, even taller than me. There is plenty of space underneath for newspaper, toys, treats, food, night covers or whatEVER you want to put down there. As others have stated, the instructions suck. They are terrible but I figured it out after some trial and error. It was relatively simple to assemble. I'm so satisfied with this cage and my birds

Pros
  • Removable Rolling Stand
Cons
  • The cage may be expensive compared to other bird cages on the market

Directions royally suck but cage seems sturdy and roomy!

Okay so I am writing this review the day after delivery and put together. Seriously, the directions or lack of suck. It literally took me more time to put together the stand than the cage itself. There are only pictures of mainly a completed stand but no individual steps or which screws to use. So for future buyers if I can help:1) Shortest screws use all throughout the cage and use on upper stand support rods to mound on the outside frame.2) Medium screws use to mount the upper support rods

Pros
  • The slide-out divider allows for custom configurations, including two separate living spaces or one large area
Cons
  • The cage may be difficult to clean if bird droppings accumulate in narrow areas

Cheaply Made and Not Packaged Well.

I bought this double cage for my Sun Conures. When the item arrived I was disappointed in how it came. Even though the boxes were not damaged, the items in the box were. The plastic trays were broken. Some of the perches it came with were broken. Part of one piece of the cage was bent.I was going to return the item, but the company wanted me to pay for the return shipping for both boxes which would have been more then half the cost of what the cage is worth.I decided to keep the cage and asked…

Pros
  • B07GSHQKQY
Cons
  • The cage may take up too much floor space in a room

Great cage, tough to assemble

I have a green cheek conure who has been needing a larger cage for a while. This was a really good deal for such a large enclosure! It's accurate to the listed measurements, seems stable, and made of pretty good quality metal. It was a bit tough to get assembled because the directions aren't great. It never says what screws to use where, and the parts aren't super easy to identify.I was really worried when it arrived because one of the boxes was ripped open and parts were sticking out, but…

Pros
  • The multiple entry doors make it easy to access your birds and tend to their needs
Cons
  • The cage may not hold up well in humid or wet conditions

I had to give it 3 stars instead of 4 because one of the holes wasn't drilled and it was missing one of the door latches. My hope is that the seller will see the review and will be able to send me another door latch for the other side of the cage. It also seemed to be missing one bracket to secure the middle back of the two cages. I put the 3rd bracket at the top back, but now that I think about it, maybe it should go in the middle of the back to stop the middle sliding panel between the two…

Pros
  • The rolling stand allows for easy mobility, making it easy to move the cage to different areas of your home or even outside
Cons
  • The cage may not be strong enough to prevent birds from breaking through the bars

Very nice cage for the money

Very nice cage. Other reviews mentioned bent wires, and mine did have a few which I bent back or just ignored. It’s not quite as high quality thick wires as my previous HQ flight cage, but it’s still overall a decent quality very nice cage, especially for the money. It’s almost twice the size of my previous flight cage, and didn’t cost much more. I love birds, but felt bad about keeping them cooped up in a small space. Even though I had a flight cage, it still didn’t give them much room to…

Pros
  • Great, strong, sturdy cage, very easy to assemble
Cons
  • The cage is heavy and difficult to move when fully assembled

Gouldie’s Treehouse is now a haven

Once you get past setting up this cage it is a dream cage! My gouldian finches absolutely love it and are so happy in their new home! I found it was easier to put this cage together if you start off with the stand, and then separate the sheets of cage sides into two groups since there are two cages side-by-side. Once we got going it was easy. I love the two big doorways, I’m even able to film my birds as shown in the video provided. Still trying to get the company to send me a divider, but some

Pros
  • The cage's design offers excellent ventilation, providing a healthy environment for your birds
Cons
  • The cage may attract unwanted pests such as flies, ants, or rodents

Not bad for the price

Based on other reviews, we expected to get what we paid for with this item but took a chance anyway since this was the only cage we could find in this size (we needed the smaller one). Assembly really wasn’t as bad as expected - finished in about 1.5 hrs (2 people) with minimal cursing. ;) All parts were present and damage free. Quality isn’t the greatest, but decent considering the price. We found a couple of sharp edges which were easily filed to prevent injury.

Pros
  • 64 x 19 x 63 inches
Cons
  • The spacing between bars may be too wide, allowing small birds to escape

Birds love new cage despite time it took to put together.

Update: December 2016 -- A second cage arrived at my grandchildren's for their budgies in perfect condition. Perhaps it is age, but a 9 year old boy and 12 year old boy managed to assemble this cage by themselves in one afternoon. Their mom was surprised. Their birds love the room.Older review: My birds love the room. This new flight cage is my second cage from Rowland. The first was a single cage and arrived in perfect condition except for broken plastic cups. The new flight cage arrived with…

Pros
  • The three levels of abode offer multiple perches and play areas, ensuring that your birds have a plenty of space to explore and play
Cons
  • The cage may not be suitable for breeding pairs that require constant attention and care

Color "White Vein " is very light gray

This was an inexpensive cage considering its size. The quality is not the best. The bars bend easily and the base wobbles. I used the grates that were included to reinforce the bars. This allowed me to attach the perches in a sturdy matter.Over all, you get what you pay for. The company did replace a cracked pull out tray with no hassle. That was appreciated. If you are looking for a white cage don't buy this one. It is actually more of a very light gray. They call the color "White Vein". They…

Pros
  • Tight 1/2" bar spacing
Cons
  • The cage may be difficult to clean due to its size and complex design

Double Mccage cage best in my review

I love this cage. However, if I take my birds out of the cage and lock it. My birds can unlock it and go back in. My birds will not climb on the sides because it shakes (the bars). When my birds move around in the cage everyone in the house knows it. I have sent messages about the lock and even offered to purchase one, but I have gotten no response.

Pros
  • The double breeding feature of this bird cage is perfect for those who wish to breed birds, as it allows for easy separation and reintegration of breeding pairs
Cons
  • The cage may not be suitable for birds that require a lot of space to exercise

Great cage; horrible assembly instructions

We bought this cage for two doves and it is simply huge, solid, and all around awesome; however, I like others before me agree that the assembly instructions are some of the worst I've ever seen. Eventually, you figure out what screws to use where and what piece it's referring to, even though it may not look like what the images in the instructions show, but it probably took me an extra 30-45 minutes to just sort it all out and that was pretty much just on my own via common sense, years of…

Pros
  • The elegant wrought iron design is visually striking and adds sophistication to any room
Cons
  • The cage may not be suitable for birds that require more privacy and seclusion

Perfect Solution for my opinion

Perfect solution for my parakeet family: mom, dad, 3 girls and 1 boy. Personalities were not meshing, had to separate them into 2 groups. The size of this cage still gives them all a lot of room to move around and fly. The great thing is the whole family can still verbally and minimally physically interact.

Pros
  • May 25, 2018
Cons
  • The sliding divider feature may malfunction with regular use

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for the most part.

I love the idea of this cage. All-in-all the cage is a good cage. However, some of the corners are very sharp, the directions are horrible, and the one latch came broken. I did contact the seller and they are sending a new one. The seller responded promptly and was pleasant to work with. Our birds seem to enjoy their new cage. So, while the cage isn't perfect, it works for what we need.

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The cage may not be safe for birds with certain wing spans or sizes
