I bought the Speakman 1.75 GPM shower head as I'm on a fountain. After installing it made a terrible intermittent whistling/whining noise that I didn't want to endure. After a little research online, I removed the shower head and temporarily pulled out the large black washer and screen, then removed the tiny black o-ring.
