Insect needles fit well into our collection. The pins are size 1, 2 and 3, so are smaller, but the pins retain their strength thanks to the stainless steel. I actually tested a size 1 in a pumpkin and was able to get it to go straight through without deforming the pin. So far a great product for the price!

My wife uses these needles to secure insects in her work. She has used many different bug needles in the past and only bought them because of the good offer but says they are so fragile and fragile that she will not use them.
