I installed this canister purge valve on my 1998 Accord and it worked just like the original. After replacing the part and resetting the error in the ECU, the problem disappeared. I expect this part will last a long time (for now it will probably outlive the car) as I have used many Standard Motor electrical parts in the past with very good results. I noticed that one of the reviewers complained that this part did NOT come. with adjusting screws; it's true, but I never expected it to happen.
