Enhance Security with Standard Motor Products DL179 Door Lock Kit Review

This is not for a 2000 Silverado. I believe this is pre 1999. This does not fit the 2000 Silverado as advertised. Otherwise it's a good product and I'm sure it will work well.

Not suitable for the application. I had to go to my local auto shop and buy a set of locks so I think you'd better get a factor set because the aftermarket is terrible.

Fit is as good as the originals. The keys and/or the cylinders themselves are a bit sloppy. If you want the highest quality, buy a GM crop. If you only need locks for work, this is the ticket.

bought this for my 96 GMC pickup, both door locks are frozen as they are 20 years old. The bad thing is that you literally have to disassemble the whole door to get to the locking mechanism. but. Now my locks work.

The part DOES NOT FIT my truck as advertised. Very disappointed as my truck has now been broken into on both doors and I cannot change the locks. That had to be remedied quickly. I need someone to contact me to find out how to replace them! There must be an option without stars!
