Suitable for 07 Raider 3.7. Just different.

Suitable for my Mitsubishi Raider 07 3.7. I was a little concerned after taking the old one off and comparing them as they looked completely different. It has no alignment square. See photo.

Will not fit 2011 Jeep Liberty

This will NOT fit my 2011 Jeep Liberty as Revane said. It was a much larger thermostat. Luckily I found another replacement part that I bought a year earlier. The comparison was striking.

Pros
  • Fits great for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

WILL NOT FIT 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L

I missed the return window by 2 days because I was waiting for something else to complete my work. When I opened it up I found that it did NOT fit the engine I ordered it for. I checked the listing twice to make sure I ordered correctly. I'm qualified to install it - an ASE certified mechanic - so it's not that I don't know what I'm doing. It's my fault for waiting so long to install.

No comparison to OEM, but works.

Keeps the temperature gauge centered. That's all I can ask for. Over 1 year old and still working perfectly. The supplied gasket is too thin, causing the thermostat to sit loosely in the engine block. I wasn't happy with this so I used an old OEM thermostat gasket and then a new one. The thermostat itself is much weaker than the original. It made me nervous to use it, but so far so good. You get what you pay for.

Garbage. DOA. for thermostats

Thermostat not working. I replaced the stock thermostat at 135,000 miles - decided it was time to replace all hoses and the thermostat as part of a service job. Thermostat installed, cooling system filled and properly vented - car drove 5 km - bam! Overheated. Excellent. These 4.7s don't like the heat so I'm hoping the head gaskets are good and the heads aren't warped. Bought a replacement for this piece of junk from NAPA. $30 later and now skeptical about the head gaskets on my truck due toโ€ฆ

DO NOT BUY! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY! My 2009 Grand Cherokee was running on the cold side according to the temp gauge and the radiator was leaking. After replacing the heatsink with a Spectra heatsink I figured I'd change the thermostat while I was there. Installed a new radiator and thermostat from Revain, filled the system and made sure all the air bubbles were out and took the car for a test drive, well it took a long time for the car to reach the overheat point, drove the car home and parkedโ€ฆ

Stant 14369 thermostat for Jeep Liberty

DO NOT BUY! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY. Just walked in the door after a whole wasted Saturday trying to figure out why my Jeep Liberty was running HOT after replacing the radiator (Spectra), water pump (AC Delco) and POS stant thermostat. At first I thought there was air in the system since I don't have a proper "bleed tool" from the system. However, Jeep has a bleed screw (8mm hex wrench) at the top of the water outlet of the upper radiator hose to bleed air and when the antifreeze runs out youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
