A good steamer that heats up quickly and works great

A good steamer that heats up quickly and works great. The problem is that he worked for only a year and a half, and then the heating element failed. Always be careful, use distilled water and drain the plug as recommended. Very disappointed, the steamer didn't last longer.

Good for a while, but then.

Repurchased in 2013. It's not even 2 years old and the insides are completely rusted and burnt. Rust-colored water flows from it, now the device heats up, but does not rise. I'm afraid it might catch fire. I've used it maybe 20 times total in the time I've had it and it's generous. If you are looking for something to invest in I would go ahead.

Great steamer at a great price

Great steamer. Easy to set up, easy to use. It won't be long before you're ready to go once you fill it up with distilled water, plug it in and turn it on. Offers good, stable vapor. The best price is that it was cheap. We borrowed one from a neighbor and liked it so much we ordered it for ourselves. It arrived just in time to steam the wedding dress for our daughter's wedding and then we used it for the entire tablecloth and a few suits. It has become a useful tool in our laundry room. Thanks…

Unreliable, durable, even according to customer service

I had it barely 2 years before it died on me. I used it according to the manufacturer's recommendations, used distilled water, cleaned it according to the recommendations and stored it in a cupboard when not in use. I plugged it in and turned it on one day and noticed there was no steam coming out. The red power light came on but there was no steam even after a few minutes. Cleaned, disassembled and not understood. I called support and they said it seemed like the heating mechanism had failed…

Decent for clothes. Not for tablecloths and curtains.

I bought this steamer to use in my design shop. I read the reviews and decided it was worth a try for the price (compared to a $400 professional vaper). The cable is definitely not long enough for this type of use. It works well on clothing, but if the majority of your vapor is on large fabrics like tablecloths and curtains, don't buy this vaporizer. What I also don't like is that there is no on/off switch on the handle. When the device is on, there is a constant stream of steam that cannot be…

Leak in unit

I bought this steamer in 2014. It worked well initially, I didn't use it much but was happy with it for up to a year trying to steam 2 daughters wedding veils with it. Eventually she stopped working altogether. I tried vinegar (only distilled water was used) and it started sporadically again, vaping for 30 seconds and then nothing. I ended up taking it apart (as another customer did with a different model) and was shocked to see that where there shouldn't be water there was water and corrosion…

speeds up ironing

It really saves time compared to ironing with a traditional ironing board and iron. But it also has a learning curve. I work in an area that requires formal wear and suits, so I have clothes that need ironing 5 days a week. I'm watching myself This is practical because I stay "up" when ironing. I've seen some complaints about this - all I have to say is USE DISTILLED WATER - ALWAYS! If you use distilled water for this, you avoid problems with tap water. Tap water is NOT suitable for use in…

Poor design makes it difficult to use

I've been using a Conair steamer for years and when it finally gave up the ghost I thought I'd try another brand in hopes of solving some of my Conair issues. namely the steam head compresses shirt collars when docked. Although this device eliminates this problem, its design creates many new ones. The clips on the folding bracket are a joke. Once you try hanging adult pants on them, you realize that 1) you can't just stick your fingers where the clips are supposed to pinch them unless the clips

Not very luxurious. on Garment Steamers

It's okay. He gargles a lot and spits a lot of water on my clothes. I've found that it's best to use the brush attachment as it kinda cleans the clothes but wrinkle them a little more easily. The water runs out really quickly and I feel like I only got a few things done before I fill it up. I couldn't get the creases out of one of my shirts, even though it's quite thick. It smoothes out wrinkles with relative ease on my thinner shirts. The plastic is pretty poor quality and I have a feeling…
