Due to my 75# jump in the lab, my gate has damaged my walls. I would remove the gate, patch the drywall and repaint. Once installed, the gate will not move if a dog jumps on it.

I use baby pressure gates and they really protect my walls. My dog has a bad habit of pushing gates and making dents on the wall but I no longer have dent problems with that. They stay in place and the pillow is just what I need to protect my wall from baby gates.

Used to install a child's gate in an odd shaped location. The door opening measures 44.5 inches and the moldings at the bottom of the stairwell make it difficult to fit a standard door. I didn't have a way to unscrew the fasteners from the gate to secure it so I used those instead. The gate is excellent, the walls are not damaged. Like it a lot. Excellent goods. Works perfectly.

They perfectly protect our walls. The only problem is that the center is so big and smooth that the ends of the gate slide into it and if given a chance to get some movement under heavy tension I can move the whole gate. I am sure that the child can handle it without any problems. Baby gates are basically based on tension, so we can't make the gate tighter, otherwise we won't be able to open it. Our solution was to add some grip on the inside and we 3D printed a smaller ring that perfectly fits
