Description of Sunex 2 Inch 16 Inch Female Socket

Forged from the finest chrome molybdenum alloy steel-the best choice for strength and durability. Radius corner design-to extend the life of fasteners. The design drives the side of the fastener instead of the corner. Provides increased strength, but also avoids rounding of rusted or damaged fasteners. 1/2-Inch drive, 9/16-Inch female plug socket.

Just what I need for custom power heads

Hard to find unless called by name. At first I called it a 4-sided socket wrench. The seams match. NO, it is a socket wrench. A must-have in your tool kit for removing and installing transmission and differential filler and drain plugs.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Faulty

Exactly what I was looking for

When we were hauling our dock out of the lake we used an open end wrench to loosen the bolt so we could lift the shoes. The wrench usually slipped and was also difficult to use to loosen stubborn bolts. I found this outlet and now use a ratchet wrench on it. Much easier.

Pros
  • Custom Sockets
Cons
  • Contact the Seller

The right tool for the job.

This tool was the answer to removing the diff connector on the rear axle of my Packard. I have more tools and sockets in my shop than I can count but I couldn't reach them with a wrench and the dodecagonal socket was around this rusty plug. The 9/16 square socket, extension cord, switch and plug disconnected in seconds. Ideal!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tool
Cons
  • old

The ideal tool for removing the 69 Chevelle rear axle filler plug.

No more trying to put a wrench on drain plugs. This had a plastic positioning label and needed cleaning. I suppose one could use a wrench to pull the fork out and then risk rounding it out or breaking the pivot, this may not be used often but would be a handy addition to my toolbox.

Pros
  • Sockets and Socket Sets
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
