This towel is very pretty, especially for the price. It's thick enough to be cozy without being too heavy for the hot Florida sun. It washes well and most of the excess lint fell off in the dryer vent so it worked well. I don't know why others were unhappy. This is perfect for the pool and I will be ordering more.

After washing the towel on a cold and gentle cycle before first use, many threads came loose and all the edging along the edges came loose. After gentle drying, the lint filter was extremely full, causing the towel to lose about a third of its fiber and weight. I had to send it back as the towel will probably disappear after one more wash.

Very nice towels, thick, soft and beautiful color before wash. After washing, lumps and lumps of fiber fell off them, and the back of the towels was covered with tablets. I included a color catcher as I washed them in warm water according to the instructions but the bright turquoise faded horribly to white! Too much fiber loss and pilling in the wash and too much fading.

I bought this beach towel for my son's swimming lesson. It's difficult to buy pool accessories in winter and I'm very lucky to find this! It's not too heavy or thick so it travels well without being bulky to carry back and forth. It's quite soft and seems like it should hold up to many washes without a problem. I've washed it several times and the blue hasn't faded, it still looks great. I would prefer it again if I needed it.

Without a doubt these are the worst towels I have ever bought. I always wash towels according to the instructions before use and these didn't even make it through the first wash! The edges of each of the 10 towels I bought were frayed and the blue dye bled into the white causing bruises all over the white. I bought them for pool towels and won't even be able to use them.
