perfect stand. for cargo handling

Great roof rack for those who don't need a huge cage that's more about looks than functionality. Fasten your surfboards on top and head to the beach, perfect for this scenario.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No automation

Second hand? And a few missing details.

The set I received was used, you can see the scratches. One peg broke and I had to shave off the rest as they don't fit me. There are no non-slip rubber pads in the front manhole post. And in some places of the weld there was significant rust. I had to sand and repaint everything except for the crossbars. I need my missing parts!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some problems

Great Roof Rack for Jeep Wrangler 2 Door

I was very happy to find a roof rack for my Jeep Wrangler 2 Door and it worked great. I can replace the front legs because to take the shirts off I have to unscrew the struts to get the crossbar off and I'd like to find an easier way to do this. Otherwise, the rear cross member system works great and I didn't have a massive "cage" wrapped around my car!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Best Rider Hard Top Rack

I have this rack on my 15 JKU and love it. I have long looked for racks to put my J kayak racks on, but on the Wrangler it's either a full cage or crossbars that attach to the hard top gutter rails. I didn't like either option as both render the liberty fields useless. The surco stance avoids this by placing a crossbar on the back. It was easy to install and very reliable, ran 7 hours on 2 kayaks with no problems. I would recommend a more permanent installation as there are foam pads that…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

This is normal and also quite noisy under load

I would say it's just normal. Serves its purpose, but nothing special. I've used it on freeways at up to 80mph and rocky trails, and towed my 70lb kayak to the lake in a 2-wood wrangler. When loaded, the hardtop creaks and creaks with every bump in the road. In fact, I was afraid that the hard top might tear, but if it didn't happen on the last ride, I don't think it will. I was terrified of overtightening the top and cracking or coming up short and losing the load on the freeway. Assembly was…

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • I will add later

Reliable alternative: Cargo Management

I've looked at other solutions that vary in price and installation requirements and this one fits both categories perfectly. Firstly it's not expensive and secondly it's removable but I can leave it attached and remove the Freedom panels and even remove the entire top that I wanted. No drilling or modifications to the top. Major advantage. Once fully installed, these things become solid. When I picked up our kayaks the man who loaded them must have weighed 230 pounds and he grabbed the rear…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Nothing here
