Kitty Miracle: Health Supplies

Our friends gave us Luna, a cute little cat, and we knew we had to teach her something nutritious and simple. A friend of mine recommended Kitten Tailspring Liquid Milk Replacer (made from goat's milk) and it turned out to be very successful. I didn't have to mix anything - it's in a jar that I keep in the fridge. It really worked! she loved it. As she grew, we used Tailspring liquid to wet her solid kitten food (a few teaspoons for each solid portion) and she switched with no digestiveโ€ฆ

Our kitten is ill

We found a stray kitten that was in bad shape with an upper respiratory infection so I'm taking care of him to get better. I got this milk to give it the extra nutrients a growing kitten needs, I did notice the smell is quite rancid but figured it must be ok as it hasn't passed its sell by date or anything . Later in the day this poor chap is squirting liquid out of his ass almost every hour, our once playful kitty has now only slept and eaten, had no energy for the rest of the night (he hadโ€ฆ

Lifesaver!: Milk Replacer

I heard a kitten crying in the woods behind my house. I waited 12 hours before looking for him in case the mother came back. There is no such happiness. About 2 weeks, no teeth, no siblings or mother. He had to be bottle fed or he would not have survived. Of all the formulas on Revain, this one had the most protein. Other brands will tell you on the label that they are intended as a "supplement" simply because they don't contain any nutrients. It can stand alone as a feeding. And it happenedโ€ฆ

Don't Buy - Health Products

I was trying to find the most natural and healthful milk substitute for my 2 week old kitten that I rescued. I stumbled across this and read that goat's milk should be the best and closest to the natural milk of mother cats. I read the product reviews and based on the many positive reviews I bought this product to feed my kitten. This formula is awful and has caused my kitty to have horrible diarrhea 2-3 days in a row even after it was slightly diluted to transition. As stated on the productโ€ฆ

The kittens are sick. diarrhea and bloating!

Not sure if it was a change in formula from powder to liquid but our orphaned 2 week old kittens got diarrhea because of it. I should have done more research but we needed something now and everywhere I looked they said goat milk is best for bottle babies. After being fed it for a day, all three have diarrhea and gas. Now that I've delved deeper into this, yes, many websites say goat milk is great for kittens, but there are other recently published websites that advise never giving goat milk to
