Description of Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap for Tattoos & Body Piercings - Enriched Skin Care with Essential Oils - Mild, Rapid-Acting, Infection Defense - Antibacterial - Antimicrobial - 2 oz

KILLS BACTERIA, SPARES YOUR SKIN - When choosing a soap you want to pick one that cleans but is not harsh on the skin. Soaps that are too harsh can dry out the skin causing safe harbors for bacteria and viruses to hide in making it very difficult to get a good kill on the skin. This formula has a slightly acidic pH and contains a key ingredient which helps to buffer the skin while providing additional killing power. GENTLE ON THE SKIN - Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap is formulated to provide a broad spectrum kill while at the same time being gentle on the skin. CLEAN ON A DEEPER LEVEL - The key ingredient is PCMX-L a combination of chloroxylenol (PCMX) and sodium lauryl sarcosinate (Lauricidin). Lauricidin is a derived from palm seed extract with a unique and proprietary process which provides a molecular structure capable of cleaning the skin at a deeper level. PCMX is a well-documented antimicrobial and antibacterial ingredient. By combining these two ingredients you get a fast acting, broad spectrum kill without damaging the skin. SQUEAKY CLEAN, LITERALLY - You will have a distinct squeaky clean that you can actually feel. This happens because the product cleans at a deeper level where more dirt and dead cells are removed exposing the clean emerging layer of skin. The soap is designed to provide a sheeting action when rinsed. SUPERIOR SKIN CARE - We’ve worked with artists and dermatologists to develop high-quality products for every phase of the tattooing and piercing process, including stuff that make the job easier. Not like other soaps that may leave residue on the skin, which can contribute to skin problems as they prevent the skin from breathing properly, leading to dried out skin.

In the second batch: Skincare

Originally bought a grooming kit and first ran out of soap as I had to decide how much to apply to half my forearm, then got another batch and officially finished as i am brush half the sleeve now. While the Dial is a cheaper alternative, I bought it to be more convenient to clean at work without the hassle of soap or a pump bottle. I will say that this is a liquid soap, it is not ideal to apply a balm as you will get more than you need. What I do is try to put a reasonable amount on my…

Oily, comedogenic, messy

This stuff comes highly recommended and I really don't understand why. I've tried several tattoo cleaners lately and this is by far the worst. Firstly it is very thin but it comes in a tube with a fairly large hole so when opened it just spills all over the place. It's uncomfortable, but it would be forgivable if the product worked well. It contains olive oil, which is comedogenic (known to clog pores). When you rinse it off, it leaves a greasy film no matter how long you rinse it off. I've…

This really is a pH balanced product for your skin, try it!

Just saying it was the best thing that ever happened to my piercing. I kept ordering like it was a prescription until my nipple rings had healed enough that I could just use regular unscented antibacterial soap. I don't know what was in it, but it also helped remove makeup from my face and eyes without damaging my eye, although it's meant for stinging. Something about the formula definitely matches my pH level.

It is necessary! in soap

This material is an absolute must for new tattoos! I have used it on all my tattoos and they heal very well. It might seem like a very small bottle, but you really don't need to use that much, so it's worth the price. (Use Aquatat by H2Ocean immediately afterwards to calm new tattoos down a bit!) I've also started using it on new and old piercings. I foolishly got my earlobe pierced at the mall and it immediately became infected. I started using this product twice a day and the infection went…
