Instead of a dozen containers of projects, here they all are. I could organize it to sort finds, bead projects or beads, leave them and return to them. It kept my room from clutter. This is a great tool that any bead maker can use. This gives you 18 compartments that are approximately 2" x 2" x 1/2" deep. What makes this tray so useful for bead lovers is the flocking, which prevents your beads from rolling. They are easy to mess with picking up a needle which can't be said of all those slippery plastic trays that are meant for artists not beads I would highly recommend this product to my fellow beaders.

From the looks of it, this tray is more durable. Maybe I didn't read the whole description (I don't remember). Manufacturers/jewelers familiar with more durable options for these types of trays may be assuming as I am, hence the 3 star rating.
