Best C4 Corvette Rear Hub/Wheel Bearing Bushing

This bushing helped remove the rear hubs on my C4 Corvette. I bought this head and a shorter one, but this one makes it a lot easier to get the bolts without removing the axle shaft or a hanger. I sprayed the threads of the three bolts that hold them with Kroil and used an impact wrench with a shock extension.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Exchange Available

Socket is too tight, I can't remove the extension

I had to use a 3" socket extension to get to the lag screw heads, which I screwed in with this screwdriver. I had to hammer the extension into the head, and now it's an integral part of the screwdriver. I had no choice because the work had to be done quickly. costs $37.00. Bow!

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

I've read of other cheaper versions that break after some or little use so I settled on these. It has some weight and when I tightened the screws I was glad I went with this version. It's easy to see that the cheaper version doesn't handle twisting. A few bucks more probably saved me hours and hours when I was using a cheap one and it broke.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The right tool for the right job!

I needed to replace the front wheel bearings on my 2016 Ford Transit 350 XLT. This job requires a tool like this to remove the bolts that hold the entire hub assembly to the steering knuckle. I didn't have the luxury of using pneumatic tools, but my half-inch ratchet worked with it, and there was absolutely no problem applying torque to this tool to loosen those bolts and eventually remove the hub from the knuckle.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No

Perfect fit for Mazda CX-9 Bearing

I watched a bearing replacement video which showed that this tool is needed. He said it was a T-55, but the commentators on that video and footage said it was a T-60. But with a much smaller shank and a bottleneck pushing the drill sideways, it won't break. I had to disassemble the suspension parts to tilt the hub just enough for the bit to actually fit the screws. Not the easiest thing in the world, but what do you expect from Ford engineers 😂

Pros
  • Convenient thing
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Useless. And I'm stuck with it.

This bit broke on first use. And I don't mean during the first use: I mean, the first time I pulled the trigger on my impact wrench, the tip just snapped off. It didn't even hit, it just broke off like it was cheap. Unfortunately I didn't use it for a month after I bought it so I screwed it up. If I'm missing something, Revain doesn't give me a chance to contact the seller and resolve the issue as I don't have a one-month window.

Pros
  • Individual sockets
Cons
  • Newer model could have been selected

Correct size for Mazda hub bolts

Excellent quality product which will no doubt last a lifetime. I was confused as to whether to buy a T-55 or a T-60 bit to remove the hub bolts on my 2007 Mazda CX-9. There's a really good video on YouTube showing how to replace them, but it says to use the T-55. I read the comments on his video and realized the T-55 might fit, but it doesn't really fit. The T-60 is the size of a Mazda (and I'd guess it's a Ford since they're basically the same parts). I used this disc and it fits perfectly…

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • No instructions

CX-7 Wheel Bearing Sockets and Socket Sets

I used this lengthened T-55 to replace the rear wheel bearing on my CX-7. The clearance around these screw heads is terrible. I hope you can see from the picture that this T-55 has to slip under the metal lip to be in the right position to release the ABS escapement wheel. Yes, the 2mm smaller diameter of my 3" extension compared to the diameter of the T-55 head made a difference. In fact, I used my grinding wheel to trim the T-55 2mm to fit under the metal edge fits.. once the bolts were loose

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
