I bought these batteries for my grandson Hess's fire engines which I have bought him over the years. There's definitely better value for money compared to others, but I can't give a rating based on usage or length of use. I hope they last as long as they cost }

Tenergy make great batteries and I've been a fan of theirs for years; Those LR14 "C" batteries are another good thing. Once inside the battery compartment, it's impossible to tell if you're using Ray-O-Vac, Energizer, Duracell, or any other popular alkaline battery. Tenergy batteries last just as long and have the same performance profile as their more expensive counterparts.

The first 4 I picked didn't seem to work, the next 4 worked perfectly so there was probably 1 battery in the first 4 that was dead or dead , but since I have the emergency toy 4, it is difficult to test one battery at a time, so far the second set of 4 batteries in the toy have lasted since Christmas and plenty of playtime. I need to see how long the packaging lasts and decide if I need to buy these again or rechargeable versions.
