Best Siphon Hand Oil Pumps

These Tera siphon pumps are the best - the hand pump works great and pumps out old oil making it easy to pour into another container. Thank you!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Negative

Great pump suitable for workshop and shop

I have been looking for a manual jack pump similar to the one I have used for many years. This is very similar (perhaps identical) to my old (still working) pump. For the price (and two for the price of one at that), it's excellent value for money.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Everything fine

You get what you pay for

Very cheap and you get what you pay for. Not recommended if you have heavy work. Good enough for my purposes as I only use it to refill my spray bottle every week. Requires coordination Or you'll likely overflow, but it's easy to get used to. 2 per pack which is good as I don't foresee this taking too long.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • 0

If you get one of the newer versions that doesn't vacuum, try cutting about 2-3 inches off the intake pipe (pipe that doesn't bend) and try again. If that doesn't work, cut off another inch and try again. Repeat this until it starts to act like, oh I don't know, a siphon. How damn funny.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Suitable for emptying the tanks of small mowers or snow blowers.

I purchased this pump after reading another review detailing its use for draining petrol tanks on mowers and snow blowers at the end of the season. This is exactly my purpose. Received it today and found I could pump gas quickly, but the siphon action really didn't last more than a few seconds. This is sufficient for my purpose, but I would not want to pump several liters. It was much better than my old siphon pump which had a pinch piston in the middle of the line that didn't pump at all and…

Does its job perfectly!

This is a simple device with a simple design. . . but it works very well! I am so disgusted with yet another siphon liquid transfer pump I bought many years ago as part of a roadside emergency kit. The hoses became detached mid-surgery or were very difficult to straighten and route to the bottom of the container I was hoping to empty. I saw the Terapump's modest price and figured I had little to lose by trying it out. I'm glad I did. The Terapump's finned straight tube is easy to point straight

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Problem

Simple design, big performance

Excellent product. This is a very simple design, but it works like a charm. I've seen reviews and questions saying they can't get a continuous siphon. I have a little advice for these users: First, make sure the top valve is closed and the receiver is at a lower elevation (no news). Make sure the hole is over the red light. Pump gently a few times until the liquid reaches the end of the tubing. Make sure you have a continuous column of liquid with no bubbles. Then seal it with your thumb and…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automation
