Great tool for Tools & Hardware

I'm working on a vintage car restoration and had Phillips head screws that wouldn't come out. I tried an impact wrench and heated them up and they didn't move. I thought I would try this tool and I'm glad I did. This tool is amazing it removed all the screws with no problem. It's a tool not used often, but it was a life saver.

  • Delivery was very quick

Excellent goods! in Tools & Equipment

later if you don't have one of these I highly recommend you do! I used this tool along with a long-barreled vibration-dampening pneumatic hammer to remove a set of very rusty brake rotor mounting bolts from a 2005 Ford Five Hundred. I live in the salt belt. This tool did a VERY short job removing those pesky screws. This is a great product. There is another variation of this tool that you can use with impact nuts that works really well too!

I couldn't believe how well this worked

I replaced the rear brake pads on a 2016 Civic. Since the car is fairly new, I figured I wouldn't have a problem getting those pesky screws out of the rotors. The factory uses these bolts to hold the rotor in place on the assembly line. I tapped the screws with an impact wrench and they didn't move. I even used the correct bit. The screws are not crossed. These are JIS screws. The crosshead does not fit. This tool immediately loosened the screws. This literally saved me about an hour of work…

It works with force, not force

I have had a percussion tool for many years that when hit counter clockwise with a hammer will usually crack the toughest bolts you would typically find on motorcycles 40 years ago. However, try to remove the screw that holds the hinge to the car door and you have the chance to seriously damage the body before the screw is completely removed. This is the type that you attach to an air hammer and push hard into the screw, but you control how much or how little force is applied with the little…

Easy removal of Kia Brake Disc Bolts

Required to replace discs on Kia Sportage and frozen up Brake Disc Mounting Bolts. Tried to hit with a hammer and couldn't stop the screwdriver from damaging the screws. Stopped after a screw and searched YouTube for an answer. I found this device and was impressed by its ability to apply vibration when tightening bolts. After attaching it to my air hammer, I removed the damaged screw in 15 seconds. The screws came out quickly with no damage. I also used this tool with a 1/4 square drive…

Great idea but poor quality.

At first glance a great idea for removing stuck fasteners. Out of the box, setup is very easy. However, there is a problem when using the tool. The replacement tip is at the end of the tool. I don't care what you do, it can't be removed by hammering with a pneumatic tool. If, not if, you break the included Phillips head, you won't be able to replace the bit. I've tried everything from mechanical force to heating and removing the bit. There are no dice. So, in my opinion, this is a one-off tool.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

The best instrument I own; If you need to remove rotor bolts, buy today!

It's rare that you buy a tool that actually works as well as you hoped it would. I can't think of a single instrument that has so exceeded my expectations. It's amazing how easily I can now remove bolts from Honda and Toyota rotors. I used to play around with the rotor bolts a bit, you know the drill. Use two hammers to loosen. then a hand impact wrench. a few words of your choice and if I'm lucky I can remove the rotor bolts in 5 or 10 minutes. If not I would drill the heads and remove the…
