Fast installation and cheap!

They work great with a loaded truck. On the other hand, if you're empty, brace yourself for a rough ride. They ride like stock suspension with small bumps, but little more than the streets are packed, hold on to your fake teeth! If you have the time and money, airbags are the way to go!

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clarity

These were added to my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. They balance the truck well when towing my 7,000 pound camper. The ride is not as smooth as without a load. But it seems that you have more control over the car. Very easy to install. 20 or so minutes and you're done.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I will add later

Great addition to the best air spring kits

Bought these for my 3/4 Dodge. Didn't really need airbags but needed extra help carrying dirt and rocks to bed. It made a big difference. Ride and handle much better with maximum payload. It's worth it and no problems with airbags. Installation was quick and easy. Probably less than 45 minutes under a truck.

Very happy with use, easy installation

So far so good. Moving a 275 gallon container filled with water several times a week. Went from 210 gallons. In both cases, the rear part sagged sharply. 275 is about 2400#, all said and done with the weight of the container. You hardly notice the weight. The timbres do their job and conceal the shifting of weight. Significantly more comfortable driving.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Disappear

I love their aftermarket tones

I really like the tones on my 2004 Dodge 2500. This review was written after a year of use. I'm towing a 5 wheel trailer that weighs 8100 pounds dry and has a drawbar weight of just under 2000 pounds. The truck bed sagged a bit, the timbres did their job and lifted it as I had hoped. A note: I used the included spacers as without them the tones wouldn't hook in fast enough to take all the slack.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Ideal for air spring kits

Very easy to install. Just need a jack and 1 foot extension for wrench. I could do it myself on earth. If you really want to, you can use some penetrating oil to loosen the frame bolts. Fits perfectly on my 06 2500 with 2" lift. I left a 1" shim to keep as little sag as possible. I make long trips around West Texas and tow a 30ft gooseneck with a backhoe on it - only 22,000 pounds. Removes most of the sag. When unloaded it sits about an inch above the differential and it sure is a bumpy ride…

Great alternative to airbags

Bought Timbren fenders for my 2007 Dodge 2500 4X4 instead of actual airbag kits. Installation was easy and only took about 30 minutes using the standard screws (see photo of installation which shows about 1.5" clearance between timbres and axle. I needed the kit because I have a Living Quarters 30ft gooseneck trailer Bought with 3 horses Curb weight 6400 lbs Fast forward - see attached photo of Timbren from driver's side with horse trailer loaded, estimated weight 9000 lbs $300 - $400 for a…

Cool and simple

I installed these on my 2008 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 to tow a 5 wheeler. Without them the truck was 3/4" lower in the rear when connected, with them I had +1/2 in the rear. They also significantly affected the quality of towing. The truck feels much more manageable when pulled down. on the road. They basically eliminated bouncing completely. Sideways movements and turns were more controlled. Installation was very easy. My only complaint is that I think they have a negative effect on my ride quality

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Hit with airbags.

I stumbled across them a few years ago while looking for an alternative to airbags for cargo support. Don't get me wrong, a good set of airbags and an onboard air compressor do an excellent job of supporting and leveling the load, but for me they were too negative for the ride when the truck was unloaded. .You have no influence on entering the warehouse when the truck is empty; They don't touch the suspension at all, but they place the load on the truck bed and they support the load and keep…
