Metal cover on both sides!

This looks SUPER WELL MADE! It has a metal ring on both sides and compared to the other wheel bearings the outer metal housing was MUCH thicker! Didn't get the micrometer, but it was SIGNIFICANTLY thicker. Recently installed 3 of these on S2000 and no problems so far.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not sure

Fits my 2002 S2000

Fits perfectly on my 2002 Honda S2000. If you know how to remove and replace your own bearings, this part is for you. I finally got rid of that horrible rattle in the driver's side rear hub. Oh you can buy 2 bearings and 2 hubs, if you change one you can also change both right?

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons

my second on high performance tires, wheels and hubs

Actually this is the second one I've bought, the first one I've just installed on my car and I've had no bearing related suspension issues at all. I bought a second one to do the driver's side but just didn't get around to it, yeah the stock just sits in my freezer until I'm ready to attach it.

The Revain workshop said it would fit, but it didn't.

Revain Garage said it would fit my 04 Civic but it doesn't. It is only suitable for one version of the civilian after studying this part. Now my car is disassembled and I have to wait another week without a car for Revain to deliver the right part. "This product fits your: 2004 Honda Civic. This product fits your 2004 Honda Civic: FrontYour Garage (4)"

NSK printed bearings

I can also confirm that both bearings I received are NSK printed. I've heard that other people who have ordered Timkins in the past have seen NTN and other manufacturers, so Timkin uses other sources for their stocks. I think Timkins is basically a reseller but in this case NSK is a good brand. Timken 510050 is the correct bearing for a 2001 Accord V6 *Update: It's 12th December 2019, the bearings are still working, I drive this car 5 days a week. No problems so far, it's been 2 years now

Fast shipping but no NSK lettering like in the picture from Korea.

Understood so quickly! Now let's see if this works well. It also doesn't say NSK?. How do you see it being made in Korea? When did people say Made in the USA? I will update this review after installation and hope all goes well. **UPDATE** Installed these in a Honda for my 05 S2000 with a Dorman wheel hub so far so good and my car runs much smoother now with no hard accelerations to see how long they last. . but i hope for the best i will update if anything happens! I recommend to anyone who…

Took just over a year

Like many others I bought Timken because they are known to be among the best. Welp a little over a year in this bad. Pretty annoying because they are difficult to change. The funny thing is that it replaced a bearing that had 200,000 miles on it. The other side is just starting to go bad at 230,000. I don't want to do it again next year by buying another one. Rather annoying. Especially when a month ago it wasn't perfect anymore when I put the ball joint on the other side and checked the…

Poor quality - probably counterfeit

Allan Reid states in his review that he doesn't believe these bearings are real Timkens. Although I have never used any other Timken bearings, the bearings I have received are not of the quality associated with Timken. When I received these bearings they seemed pretty stiff. I really couldn't move them. I installed them and they weren't very smooth. To be honest I was very worried. I made a really stupid mistake and installed my dust covers upside down and had to disassemble the entire hub…

Two failures in a row.

I won't say this product isn't genuine but I've had two bad builds in a row and never had a bad Timkin bearing - that's why I went with them. The first unit, the oil seal failed and bearing grease got EVERYWHERE on the inner rim, caliper, steering and suspension components. It was a nightmare to clean up. Revane came by and sent a replacement. I put a new one in with no problems and they were bad from the start - I have an obvious grinding noise from a bad bearing. The reason I say I won't say…
