TITIMO Folding Hitch Mount Carrier Review

This item has been well packaged to prevent damage in transit. Assembly is pretty easy. tools required. However, your instructions are wrong. This item arrived damaged and is already rusting. The pipe is tucked away a bit so it's not quite aligned. It is not possible to contact the seller. Weighs 56 pounds so be prepared. Fits the receiver very well.

We only used it for luggage but it worked really well for us, I weigh about 250+ and I got up and jumped on it (because I'm a guy and we doing this stuff), no problems at all, and for the price it was way more than I expected. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an occasional cargo carrier if you need it for everyday use. I'm not sure if it will stand up to this kind of wear and tear.

Firstly, the product includes an extremely thin cloth sleeve that rips to shreds within the first hour on the go, not a heavy bag. Second, by the end of the second day, the trunk was already dragging on the ground behind my car. Third, I had to rent a U-Haul trailer to complete the trip. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a nice, solid ramp that will last half the country.

Very durable. There's no excessive play, which would have been great considering it can't vibrate or rattle. However, this makes it almost impossible to save/install for use. I had to use the included nylon weight straps to pull it out of the hitch receiver, causing it to fall completely out of the receiver. Since the stacking feature is useless, my dad (whom I bought this for) can't use it.

Previous reviews for this product noted that the washers for the smaller screws are not the right size. I see this is still a problem. Small washers are too small and cannot be used. I also wish the direction was a little clearer on the final assembly part. It can be guessed, but it's not that hard to figure out if you have some mechanical flair. In general, the product conforms to the declared characteristics. The main issue was that the weld holding the adjustment nut to the top of the main beam was either poorly made or not strong enough to support the weight. We've only used this twice but it works great. Ours has no rust and is in an outside shed. It was a little tricky to put together because one of the screws looked like it was supposed to be the part you use to attach the trunk to the SUV hitch. No, that is not so.
