65 inch TV securely mounted

Because I have drywall with no clear stands and it is cheap I forgo my professional installation and chose this product. The switches were easy to use. I drilled a hole in the walls with a 1/2 inch bit. It worked perfectly. I inserted the lever and fastened it so that the anchor lay flat against the inside of the wall. I pulled the strap to make it fit snugly against the wall. I made sure it was very close to the wall before snapping off the plastic sides. The screws were easy to screw in. The…

Matches my shower door perfectly

Overall they are easy to use and appear to be durable. I installed a swing shower door on a cheap fiberglass shower that is 18 years old. After years of being disassembled for cleaning, the bolts holding the door to the fiberglass eventually stretched beyond the new bolt size. I ordered them, drilled the original holes and had to enlarge the holes in the door frame. I also added an extra mounting hole to keep the pressure even along the fiberglass and hopefully avoid cracking over time. They…

They are good but I don't like them

They are quite a chore to work with unless you have a big drill bit to put them in a hole. quite a monstrous hole in your drywall to get an anchor through relative to the size of the bolt, but that's how lever anchors work. Measure carefully and leave plenty of pencil marks so you can stay centered as you widen the hole to place the anchor. Anchor doesn't like to jump back out once he goes through the wall, so he gets stuck. There is a strong movement. The straps can loosen from a tight fit a…

I'm in love with screws

Fixing a 47 inch TV to the wall with metal studs made me look sad. My plan was to use old school screws or molly screws through a hole in a metal stud. This will no doubt work, but these snap-action switches got the job done in less than 5 minutes, while I could have messed around with the long process of measuring and drilling a hole. I actually used them as an experiment because I just couldn't believe drywall could support that much weight by itself. It's only recently gone up, but it's…

Sturdy option for plaster walls

I bought these to fit a closet system in my old house with plaster walls. Nothing seems to work within those walls without destroying them unless you can work directly with the rack. In general they worked very well. I had no problems with the plastic zipper breaking. Drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the wall is a little risky, but they hold up really well once you set them up correctly. My only complaint is that some of them don't stick to the wall very well. Use a flat head screwdriver and pliers…

It seems like a great article. IF IT DOESN'T BREAK DURING INSTALLATION!

So far I've successfully installed 6 of these but 3 or even 4 broke in the process. This seems to be the main complaint with most of the other reviews. Wouldn't care, but about $1 for each anchor lost, which hurts fast. I think more detailed instructions could have saved me 1-2 of the ones that got lost. Once the anchor is in the wall, be very careful when inserting the bolt into the wall, making sure it engages the threads. If it's hard to turn or you're pushing hard, you've most likely…

Metal end rod needs to be threaded 1/4 " x 20

Most of the negative reviews are due to the 1/4" x20 threads in the metal rod being too tight, which can when Screwing in the bolt/screw may break the plastic end of the device on the metal rod. One review said to use a 1/4" x 20 faucet to clean the threads first, which I did (he needed it) and had no issues with the plastic end breaking. My claim was to get handrails in installing my ceramic tile shower. Many tungsten carbide sets for Revain drill bits say the largest size in the set is 1/2"…

absolutely love her! Better than Home Depot and Lowes!

I've always been a big fan of this style of lever screw. My company installs TVs, server racks (nicely small), phone systems, switches, etc. All of these and they have a 100% success rate on several thousand installations where for one reason or another we haven't been able to hit a hairpin. We recently came across this brand at Revain and they work MUCH better than what we previously bought locally at Home Depot and Lowes. They are much easier to work with and much easier to get into. One…

WARNING: Great idea - VERY POORLY PRODUCED!

The switches are a great design idea. You would be perfect. WHEN YOU TAKE THEM TO WORK. I wasted 7 out of 20 trying to tighten the screw only to squeeze the support bar so it broke off and crashed into the wall! At first I thought maybe the hole placement is wrong and I screwed it in at an angle and therefore didn't catch. NOT RIGHT. I got tired of screwing the handrail into the ceramic tile and then unscrewing it again, adjusting and opening the retaining flange and screwing it in again and…

These drywall anchors were perfect for my work.

I installed 3 grab bars in our master bathroom, 1 in the toilet, 2 in the shower. After doing some research on how to do this for shower tiles and the tools and parts needed. For my setup I couldn't hit all of the anchor points of the wall studs, for those that weren't on the studs I chose TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE anchors. One for installing drywall was straight, on one end I was able to hammer the stud with 4 screws, on the other end I used 3 TOGGLER SNAPTOGLE anchors and the rods are secure. In the
