For years I have had problems with deodorant sensitivity which often leads to skin rashes. So I'm trying to do my part to use less single use plastic which is why I paid more for this product which comes in a push up cardboard tube. After about a week of use I was shocked to find a cavity in the middle where I was expecting a sold deodorant keg. This is the same Tom's deodorant that comes in a plastic container but in a cardboard tube. It's a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. Deodorants mask odors with a pleasant scent and help control sweat with powder. Antiperspirants mask odors and reduce sweating with pore-clogging chemicals, usually aluminum-based. Good smell and feel comfortable on the skin. Rinses off easily, no lingering odor, stickiness or other sensations I get from aluminum deodorants, gels or other brands. The aroma is pleasant cedar. Imagine walking on an island of freshly sawn cedar planks. It is a sweet, slightly tart fragrance that expresses the unique smell of cedar. This works for me. 16 hours after applying it in a wet New England summer, gardening, driving, painting the house, cutting wood with a chainsaw, carving wood, playing with kids, etc. and I don't smell awful.
