Spills too much.

I had no problems with this batting after my quilt was finished but getting to this place was a nightmare. He shed like no other. He left a mess on the blanket and on me and continued to cling to my thread, causing the thread to break. It then took a full 20 minutes with tape to collect all the lint from just one side of the duvet. Everything looked like the picture. I've never had this problem with other cotton pads.

Pretty Thin - Sewing

I just quilted this batting. I was surprised how thin it is as I have already ordered cotton from this company and it was great. Not so thin that you "don't hit that blanket" but not cozy either. For the price you could use 2 packs of this cotton and it would be spot on. Quilting on my home machine was quick and easy with this batting. I will not be buying this again unless I use it for table runners or napkins. You get what you pay for.

I'm not a quilt pro - I've just finished my second quilt and am working on my third quilt using this batting. I am surprised by some of the negative reviews as I have not had any of these issues. I embroidered the squares of the quilt, then added the backing and using magic stitches, added a band around each square as a border. I ironed them on cotton. All 20 squares, each 21 inch square, came out perfect, no "burning" or "burning". It held up like a champ and almost didn't tear when I…
