Excellent product and customer service

Good. I have 5 such systems at home; had high hopes for his sons. out of the box it was pretty damn slow. and I thought he programmed it wrong. Actually it was a bad system don't worry the seller released a new one in 2 days and his internet is screaming now. love the simplicity and scope.

New at the factory heat shrink tubing!

I installed Deco 5 a week ago and it works great in my 2000 square meter. ft. I have 100 Mbps service and get 120 Mbps wired with my iMac and get 120 Mbps WiFi throughout the house. My Dead Airport Extreme was basically just running at 40Mbps. I like using the application to control the router function, not a power user.

Gorgeous Flooring for a Large Home

My cable company gave me a Deco M5 with my internet plan, but they charge a monthly rent for the extra charge, so I bought these two refurbished packages. I have a big 4100sf house, very long. With a device centered indoors, we had dead zones on both ends. Since I had existing Cat6/5e cabling running the length of the house, I placed the downstairs devices equidistant from each other and we now have excellent WiFi coverage throughout the house. I even get a decent connection in our field 200…

Life changes! Best in Network Products

We had so many problems with our internet service. Years of poor maintenance, blind spots. Our printer, Roku, security system, and Circle went offline every 10 minutes. We endured this nightmare for years because we couldn't find another ISP. We've changed modems and contacted customer service so many times that the technician knows us by name and even gave us his cell phone number. Things have gotten 10,000,000 times better since we bought the Deco Mesh System! We don't have to reconnect our…

  • There are other interesting options.

My home is a concrete block structure approximately 1868 feet tall. The internet router is in the common room furthest from the master bedroom where I had very little internet signal to watch TV or use my computer. I tried another expander but the results were marginal and inconsistent. I bought a TP Deco system and it improved signal strength by almost 80%. This is not ideal with this type of concrete structure, a third decorative protection module will probably improve the signal strength. So

There's a reason this thing is so cheap - not for advanced users

An Android/iOS app is required to set up this device. And this app requires you to create or login a tp-link account. So for this device you need a tp-link account to set it up. This is entirely optional. When you configure a router, it usually has a local web interface to manage its settings. The default IP address for the web interface of this device is 192.168.68.1. However, when you visit this it just says to download the app. I'm sick of every company trying to cloud tether for devices…

What an amazing product

Around the same time as I was installing the Netflix Orbi mesh network, all sorts of devices started failing. I was starting to think some evil poltergeist had taken over my house. It was very difficult to set up and was terribly unstable. My brother had the same issues and they were all fixed when he upgraded to tp-link Deco M5. . I jumped to my feet after a few minutes. I haven't been able to get a smart plug to connect to the Orbi. I assumed it was defective and sent it back. I was on the…

Got them added to our existing system - works great

I recently received a starter kit to expand our Wi-Fi network. We live in an old townhouse and it can be difficult to get good coverage on all 4 floors and each side of the house. The first set made it possible to cover most of the house, which was very useful when the wife and children are completely virtual for work and study. We realized we also needed to cover the basement and top floor, so I added two more units - one in the bedroom and one in the back of the house. We get amazing speed…
