I bought this bag for a 10 day trip to France and Spain. On the 5th day of normal road use - I certainly didn't abuse the bag - one of the inner pockets had a tear at the seam at the bottom of the bag and items fell to the bottom of the bag and got lost under the lining. . What a waste of money. I regret this purchase and will not be buying Travelon products again.

The top main zip broke right after "closing the return window". The lightning's metal rod literally broke in half. Very disappointed that the return window was so short. I'm throwing this bag away. I was fine for the first 6 weeks. Traveled all over Italy. It was great until it fell apart. Time to look for a better product. Maybe that's why the return window is so short. BUYER ATTENTION! I didn't think to look at this company's return policy because I bought through Revain. Ooooh disappointed.

I have this bag in both black (purchased November 2014) and cranberry (purchased August 2015). I change colors depending on the occasion and without a doubt it has become my everyday handbag. As my photos show, it is approximately 9 inches high and 10 inches wide. If you like to pack all your worldly possessions in a handbag and don't mind the weight of 10+ pounds digging into your shoulder, then I don't recommend this particular bag for you. I like a lot about this handbag, but I would like it to be different. . .I like the strap. This is the perfect width and thickness. It doesn't feel like a titanium chain runs through them, although I do feel more comfortable knowing there is one. I love the size - it's small enough to be concise and not bulky, but big enough to fit some essentials. In the main compartment I have a small bottle of hand sanitizer, a small bottle of medicine, an epi pen, mini wipes, lip balm and a few other items.

I received this bag to use in Italy. First I bought a big one which got too heavy after filling. The large bag itself was heavy and I repacked it. I tried on each bag for a week before the trip. The first was inconvenient just to go to the store.
