Very cool concept but not very well executed. They were bought for my high school son (who doesn't officially play drums) and of course he LOVES them! They arrived with one stick that wasn't as bright as the other, and it quickly dimmed so much that the glow effect was gone. We tried replacing the batteries - I think it would be easier to design and make your own wand! Think goggle screws (who has a screwdriver like that?), and then we had to remove all the circuitry around the battery…

These sticks also keep their promises: They light up when you hit them. The lights are bright and beautiful to look at - a bit like lightsaber drums - but there are too many issues with these sticks for me to enthusiastically recommend them.
