Description of 🛁 TubRing: The Ultimate Tub Drain Protector Hair Catcher/Strainer/Snare in Grey - Regular Size

Unlike mushroom-shaped plugs that go inside the drain, TubRing fits around a pop-up stopper, neatly collecting hair around it. When it's time to cleanup, simply pick up hair with a toilet tissue. TubRing allows you to keep your pop-up stopper. It fits most standard pop-up drain stoppers such as Push-and-Pull, Lift-and-Lock, and Toe-Touch pop-up stoppers with a snug fit. A single plumber visit can cost hundreds to get a drain snaked professionally. Liquid drain cleaner is not a solution either. TubRing is guaranteed to catch every hair and save hundreds of hard-earned dollars for you. TubRing is easy to clean & maintain, and it stays clean and dry after each shower. Stop dealing with tangled messes and icky gunk that gather inside the drain. TubRing fits US standard bathtub pop-up drain stopper with a top cap sized between 1.85" and 2.16" in diameter. Customers are advised to check the top cap size of their stoppers before placing an order.

Too big for my bathroom

The ring is too big for my bathroom. It just sits around the stopper, I think it will still work if it sits around it, but it definitely does NOT fit the base exactly as described.

The swim ring is fantastic!

My shower needed a hair pull once a week. And bathing the dogs was even worse. We had a mesh screen but it wasn't very good. This product is beautiful and adapts to any drain size. It's also easy to clean. I recommend!

Works great!: Sanitary

We all have VERY long hair in our family and we have 4 dogs. I tried a few more options, but still had to constantly clean the sewers 🤦‍♀️ That works great for us. I have attached a photo showing 2 showers and 4 dogs bathing. Super easy to use. It just lies there, but is a bit heavier than the other "over the drain" types so it won't move or let hair fly down the drain! I recommend to everyone. (And this is the first time I've left feedback on anything - that's how great it is!)

It's not bad; It's not cool

This drain guard is fine. Nothing more, really. It seems to be effective in stopping hair as a giant hairball appears every time my wife gets out of the shower. What worries me is that it prevents hair from still sticking to the shower floor. Because the water doesn't stop at the bottom, it flows straight down the drain. That means the hairs never stand up until a guard catches them. I have to try and pull most of the hair off the floor in the shower, which I find rude and annoying. About 80%…

It works and stays in place

This ring keeps hair from going down the drain. Like all hair traps, it somewhat slows the flow of water. I would like it to be done in color to make it less noticeable, like white, off-white, almond or grey. The gray color is designed for sinks and pairs best with a chrome drain plug. It fits snugly and stays in place and also prevents small items like receipts and rings from accidentally falling down the drain. A big disappointment for me is that you cannot depress the hose plug to fill the…

  • Not the best

Let me start by saying that pop-up drains are one of mankind's greatest failings, and I'm baffled as to why I still have long, curly/wavy, incredibly thick hair and am very proud of it. Hair like mine and retractable drains have been at war since those damn things started showing up in the shower (huh). So I bought this little ring to prevent clogging. It is incredibly flexible and easy to put on and take off. The water flows fairly easily given the small masses of hair trying to get into the…

OMG. Just buy it. We just moved into an apartment with a screw on drain plug and it slowly started draining. We removed it and found half the old tenants' hair there. Removing this stock takes time, so I was looking for something that might solve the problem before it becomes a problem. We have a Sink Shroom in our sink (due to the same issue) and we love it, but had to remove the plug to make it work. We weren't entirely sure if removing the tub drain would be a great solution as we might want

Much less useful than expected

I really loved this bathtub ring. We have a foot drain in the shower that often gets clogged because of my long, thick hair. We decided to try this product as the concept sounded like it would work and it seemed like it drained quickly to avoid soap scum. However, this product is really bad at catching hair. Maybe the material is too soft, the slits too wide or the ring too big, but the hair fits under the ring easily. Anyhow, I think it actually made things worse because instead of stopping…

Does not fit well in the bathtub

I bought a washbasin ring and I really liked it. So I decided to buy TubRing for the bathroom. It holds most hair. It doesn't fit in my sink exactly like the SinkRing. But it seems to keep most hair from ending up down the drain. The TubRing becomes quite unsightly so you will need to clean it from time to time. You shouldn't, but it can get pretty messy if you don't clean it up. I left it in soapy water for a while, added some vinegar, and then brushed it with a toothbrush. It came out pretty…
