Worked well with most (but not all) of my Wireless Access Points

Worked well to power some of my indoor and outdoor Cisco APs, but I still had a few that wouldn't turn on fully despite claiming they could handle 60W. Not sure if it was a compatibility issue with the injector or the hotspot. However for the price this is a great injector that I will use when I can. If I have an access point that it's not compatible with, I use the more expensive one I found during testing.

Pros
  • Weight: 6.77 oz.
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Works as expected when used correctly.

I bought this power supply to power remote security cameras from a USW-Flex connected to my house via a Unifi mesh antenna. Works as it should. The price is great.

Pros
  • Input voltage: 120/230 VAC
Cons
  • Something is wrong

I always use Ubiquiti gear.

This POE injector worked fine for my application. I needed some POE injectors for outdoor security cameras, and while I'll eventually buy a POE switch, I needed something quick right now. I use Ubiquiti POE injectors to power my network access points, which is why I chose them for my security cameras. They work well and I recommend them.

Pros
  • Output voltage: 50V
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Worked well with most (but not all) of my wireless access points

Worked well to power multiple Cisco indoor and outdoor access points but I still had a few, which have not received full power up, although it is stated that it can afford 60 watts. Not sure if it was a compatibility issue with the injector or the hotspot. However for the price this is a great injector that I will use when I can. Pros

Cons
  • Sad hardware

Does not support PoE+ or ++

Does not meet advertised performance. Save time and buy something else. I learned another valuable lesson: the cheapest isn't always the best. Ubiquity was my first attempt to get a working PoE adapter for debugging an Aruba AP-575 access point. He did not provide the necessary power. Then I tried iCretin PSE-480150G, also from Revain. This didn't work either. As a test, I connected the AP575 to an Aruba 2934F switch and lo and behold, the access point was happy. It received 802.3af and then…

Pros
  • Grounding/ESD protection
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
