I read the reviews and bought a larger size for my grandson, but these pants give him good freedom of movement and also offer good protection for his knees and buttocks when he learns to skate. Glad we bought them but this winter we will also have a heavier pair for outdoor play.

The crotch of these pants is very low and the waist is smaller than the hips. The fit is completely non-existent. With such a low step, the movement is difficult. And unless you have a kid with curvy hips, the waist-to-hip ratio isn't normal either. Get them back as soon as possible!

The winter trousers look good but run small, my son wears a size 10 but fits him like a size 8, unfortunately I cannot exchange them for a larger size as size 10 is the largest size they sell. Also, my son is thinner, I think they are best suited for kids no taller than average.

If you are looking for a cheap but good option this is what you need, these pants are warm and will keep you warm in the snow which is great I would definitely recommend them!

I bought them for my daughter 2 winters ago. They work great! She's quite skinny so the band around her stomach keeps it on her comfortably. I wish they came with straps that go underfoot to keep snow off your boots but these are great winter pants.

These pants are as effective against snow as they should be. However, they are a bit small which means we can only use them for one winter season. The 'size' says 2-9 years which is a big downside so it should have been a warning but I didn't include it. They fit my 4 year old who is a size 4T. I can't imagine a 9 year old wearing them

I'm a size 10 for my 7 1/2 year old boy who is tall. They're too short, but that's okay because they fit well into his winter boots. They're really thick but not bulky like regular winter pants! 1-2 sizes bigger!

We needed new winter pants for our 5 year old and thought it would be easier for him and his teachers to dress and undress without pants during school. These pants were at a great price but they are very thin. With long pants they are very tight around the legs making it difficult for my son to move. The length and waist fit well but the legs are so narrow.

These pants are not durable. With very light outdoor play, the back broke within the first 10 minutes of use. Save yourself the hassle and buy Target winter pants, they're the same price and much more durable.

My normal weight 6 year old didn't like these winter pants. He finds they are too tight on his legs. He won't wear them. I like the design.

I ordered 10-12's for my 8 year old to keep them loose enough for a couple of winters. They are so tight that we could hardly put them on. The leg end fits like tight leggings. They are too tight to wear over boots, too baggy to wear inside boots and too tight to just pull over boots. I feel like they were made for those who have never worn winter pants or boots.

Very difficult to find pants for my 7 year old as they are both tall but have very small waists. These snow pants go very well with normal jeans. I'm not sure about the durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it!

I approached like a glove. like it was made especially for him. it fits the website just as well. It fits exactly as pictured, I was surprised. Pleasantly surprised. :) The quality looks good. D

The perfect pant for fun in the snow and cold weather. Got one for my 9 and 2 year old boy. They are lightweight and fit perfectly, covering the lower back. Highly recommended!

I bought these size 6/7 pants for my 5 year old daughter who wears a size 5T and is 35-40 pounds. She said they were too tight around the waist. I put on panty hose to keep warm but not to make these pants tight. They wrap themselves tightly around the waste. I bought them for snow. That's why they're great. The same ultra-thin, waterproof material on the outside, the same material on the inside. I plan to get her a size 8, hopefully they don't get huge. Size 6/7 length was good for my daughter

I bought a red one that went surprisingly well with my son's gray coat. They looked good and fit well. I liked the very long belt that helped tuck in his shirt and keep his winter pants from falling off. The pants were a bit longer but I also liked that as it gave me more room to work and allowed me to keep my pants on the lowest level over his boots to keep the snow out. Any extra length, I just rolled it up a bit and you couldn't tell due to the way they were cut. They definitely kept him…

Got this at age 10 for my almost 8 year old who is pretty much in the 50th percentile on the height and weight charts. Size 10 pants tend to be quite baggy on him and either good or bad in length/waist (either too big or a bit big, but still fit well enough to wear) but they are *almost* too small. They can last all winter if he doesn't grow too big or play too roughly during the break. I'm still debating, only coming back because they seem questionable in quality, sizing aside as they tear…
