The price is too high and beware of the return shipping cost!

These are pretty good pull rods but they just don't fit our space / fell off due to lack of tension no matter how far I opened them. I thought I could return them as they are Revain Prime but the return cost for 3 of them is $25! The?! Find cheaper and same quality at Target/IKEA etc. Very disappointed.

Strong tie rod!

I'm not sure if some of the reviewers who said they weren't heavy are installing them incorrectly or something else. But I bought two of these to hang the Nicetown Window Treatment blackout curtains in my bedroom. Far from being lightweight sheer curtains, these are quite heavy and these rods can easily take the weight! Both installed in less than ten minutes!

Do not buy: not possible, cheap production, false advertising.

Doesn't work / Cheap to make: The mainspring rattles inside and the trapezoidal screw inside loosens over time. It will hold 2 42" x 34" curtains (about 1-2 pounds each) for an hour or two before detaching and falling off the window. False advertising: - Advertised as "no tools or holes in the wall." Comes with a clip that must be screwed into the top of the window to hold up the center of the pole. Even if I did I doubt it would work very well as the screw mechanism loosens when pulled. My…

High quality drawbar priced at

There are quite a few similar drawbars at Revain. I chose the Umbra brand because I've had good luck with the style and aesthetics of Umbra products in the past. I was not disappointed. Although this is a very simple rod, it holds the curtains securely and firmly and doesn't feel crappy or cheap. It is very easy to unscrew and tighten. I would buy this again if I need more. Warning: Stretch curtain rods will not hold heavy curtains, no matter how good they are. I have used these rods to install

Slips on paint easy to remove

At first you could literally watch it slip after installation. The problem was due to the type of plastic used on the ends for the "handle" and the fact that this plastic felt a bit slippery. The rod didn't just slip off - if it shrank first, then it fell. Once installed, the rubber tips of the poles offered so little resistance to the paint that the ends were simply twisted in place until the pole was compressed enough to fall off. The solution was simple - put something between the plastic…

Owned for over 2 years - never had a problem!

I don't know what's up with the negative reviews because I've been using this pull rod for almost 3 years now and not only has it not moved, I almost forgot it's a pull rod! I needed this tension rod to hold the blackout curtains for my sliding glass door - so you know those curtains had to be heavy! I bought them back in September 2018, hung these curtains right here ---> MIUCO Blackout Grommets for Room Blackout Curtains Bedroom Panels Set of 2 52" x 84" and although I had to open these…
