Large shower scraper

Used for glass shower doors and tiles. I've had other wipers over the years but this one holds up the best. It's wide so it takes less movement and I'm mopping the ceramic tiles in the shower now. It's also stainless steel, so I have a sticky stainless steel hook to hang it in the shower. It comes with extra rubber and is replaceable so I know I don't have to constantly spend money on new wipers. I am very satisfied with this product.

Good but a little disappointing without the threaded handle

Well I should have read the reviews. Don't get me wrong this is a nice scraper but it is unthreaded and yes you will need to buy an Unger bar. The Unger bar has a locking system for this as well as a thread which I assume works with other things like reels. But $45 for a 12-foot stem doesn't suit me. A mop is $10, a pole is $45, so yes, if you're looking to spend that much cleaning windows, this is a great scraper. I'll just stick it to my old post now.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No paint required

Very Very Good Wide Squeegee

We needed a wide squeegee to wipe down our shower doors and here it is! Almost all other mops are too small to clean doors in 2 passes (they take 3 passes) so this wide squeegee allows me to wipe a door in just 2 overlapping passes. I know; Sounds trivial, but I shower frequently, and using this wider scraper is a simple way to make shower doors a little easier to wipe down. Nice grip on the handle and the second rubber blade is a nice bonus. Very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons

Works great in the shower

I have hard water so I wipe down the shower every day to save myself hours of cleaning and a cloudy glass door every month. I would probably prefer 14 inches. But it's a fantastic improvement over the many 8-10 inch scrubbers sold for use in the shower, and I appreciate that it has a rubber grip for ease of use. The only change I want to make is to make the grip an inch longer. If you are not using an extension handle and need a way to hang, the 17065S-AWES hook fits in the hole.

A quality tool that makes cleaning large windows easier

A great tool if you choose the right process. I have 10 meter windows that are quite difficult to clean. I spray first, and then clean the windows with a separate agent. After getting wet and cleaned, this scraper quickly copes with the liquid. If you don't pre-clean and moisten the window sufficiently, you will end up with streaks. A rag is needed to wipe the blade and window edges. The overlapping technique to get a clean finish may take some practice, but you'll look like a ninja.

All my Stripe problems solved in one fell swoop!

I've tried cleaning windows with Windex, a water-alcohol mix, and several other window cleaners that didn't promise streaks. I've tried wiping down the cleaning products with paper towels, newspaper, store-bought mops, and microfiber towels. None of these attempts were successful after forty years. At first I thought it might be the windows themselves, but I've lived in more than ten houses over the years and have had the same problems everywhere. Finally I searched the internet for a…
