the product does not conform to the acceptable standard

the clock is slow every day and the set frequencies are drifting. The static state is almost impossible to clean up. returned the product. norms

Pros
  • memory backup in the event of a power failure
Cons
  • very expensive

Very good but room for improvement

The only issue I have with this scanner is the weather range. There is no way to block these channels. Unfortunately, there is a signal on one of the channels near me, but only interference is transmitted. I have to manually tune to another channel to get the weather report. Scanning is not possible if there is a bad channel.

Pros
  • 50 channel scanner, AM/FM radio and clock/alarm
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Good all in one combo but poor FM sound.

I was disappointed with the FM audio quality for the FM broadcast band. It sounded limited and boring. It also couldn't reliably pick up a remote station, which I can now pick up at the boombox (I returned this device). It's very well made and very easy to program and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants FM as an add-on and doesn't plan on listening to a lot of FM.

Easy to use and program

Replaced old scanner with this one. Good value for money, it has more bells and whistles than I need and I didn't really like the FM and AM reception, but that's not what I bought it for. Uniden puts out a quality product with a decent programming manual. Although I still had a little problem understanding the priority channel groupings. But understand, I have technically difficult assignments, so in general it's an achievement. Feel free to recommend.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly torn

It's so cool! Best security and surveillance

Anyone interested in scanners should seriously consider this scanner. First, it allows for much more than just police and fire department scans. You can read the manual (available for download at the time of writing this article) and see all the possibilities. I'm writing this review to talk about ease of use from the perspective of a person with reduced mobility and disability. The buttons on this device are easy to press. The dials are also easy to turn. It's also very easy to set up. For me…
