The box inside turned out to be more spacious than I expected so I was very satisfied! It fits all of my brushes, even the longer ones that I didn't usually put in my previous art supply boxes. I originally bought this as a 'paint box' for outdoor oil painting. Before I could use it for this purpose, I was delayed due to the weather and other reasons. I decided to use it to store my watercolor supplies in my studio. I'm perfect for all my watercolor tubes, brushes, masking liquid, pencils, tape, pretty much anything but watercolor paper, palettes and easels.
