I love the size of these towels. They are good quality and absorb well. You should wash them before use (like all new towels). The lint will remain after about 2 washes, which is fairly typical for a quality plush towel. But I didn't find that they have a lot of lint. I had some random threads around the seams that had to be trimmed after the first wash, but this didn't affect the quality of the towel. These towels seemed like a good buy. I should never have bought them. They've been washed over 15 times and they're still shedding like crazy. I dry myself after I get out of the shower and when I put lotion on my face the lint settles on my hands and I have to wash my face again to get rid of it and dirty another dry washcloth with that I don't walk around with fluff. closed face all day. I wanted soft towels, not too thin but not too heavy (heavy ones take too long to dry) and they are perfect. Washed in cold water, no fabric softener and tumble dried (not tumble dried) they come out beautiful every time. I had no problem with my gray towels fading.
