Description of 🌊 VEVOR Water Distiller 1.1 Gallon, 4L Pure Water Maker with Dual Temperature Display, 750W Countertop Distilled Water Machine for Home, Includes Plastic Container - White

Efficient Water Distilling: The 750-watt die-cast aluminum heating plate allows our home water distiller to distill water up to 0.26 Gal (1 L) per hour and about 6 Gal (23 L) per day. It can effectively dissolve VOCs and filter other impurities from your water, offering you distilled water for drinking at ease. Trust-worthy Quality: All parts that come into contact with water are made of food-grade 304 stainless steel, including the internal tank, inner cap, water outlet, and inlet. Furthermore, a water container made of durable plastic is also provided. Dual Temperature Display: Coming with simplified buttons and a dual temperature display (setting temp. & actual temp.), our counter-top water distiller features convenient operation. It is thermostatically controlled with automatic shutoff for overheating protection when the temperature exceeds 226.4Β°F (108Β°C). Reliable Heat Dissipation: Unlike those with plastic fans, our water distiller machine adopts a built-in 4-blade aluminum fan, which is durable enough to ensure efficient heat dissipation and long service life. Ease Of Maintenance: To provide you with a better experience, we kindly offer three replaceable carbon packages for purifying. Moreover, a bottle of fruit cleaning powder is also included for effortless cleaning of the internal tank. NOTE: It is recommended to replace the carbon filter pack once a week and clean the water distiller after used twice.

Terrible taste of water

I filtered the water before distillation, used a carbon cartridge, filtered again and still tasted horrible. I had to buy some water flavors, very expensive. I like the taste of distilled water that I buy at the store. Doesn't taste like it was bought at all. I guess I've waited too long to come back. I was hoping it would get better with time, but no. I wonder if a ceramic lined burner would be better? More research is needed. Unfortunately, I don't have about $60.

Louder than my dishwasher.

It's so loud that I can only turn it on when I leave the house for 4 hours, which is about once a month, so it's a useful product. If you don't have a basement to dedicate to an aquatic plant, the noise will bother you. I know that. The top is difficult to put on and take off as it is completely pressure dependent and awkward to put on and take off. Considering how little I can walk with it, the fact that the first batch has to be thrown away is unacceptable. When you pour water from a…

How can I hate this car? let me count the ways

First, the collection container is plastic, not glass as advertised. Second, it smelled awful. I had to soak it in activated charcoal to get rid of the smell. Third, it is inconvenient to clean. You must lift and hold the entire machine so that you can remove the cover. Fourth, it doesn't have an off button, so if you press the on button while cleaning, it will turn on as soon as you plug it in (even if there's no water in it and the cover hasn't been removed yet). creating a fire hazard. if…

Cheap good distilled water

A Christmas present for my parents. Used for about a month (about 1 liter per day). It's as quiet as I could have expected (like a desktop computer with big fans). Only criticism is that the water has a slightly chemical taste for about the first week. Other people have mentioned using a pitcher filter to get rid of that part. It seemed to have such a light taste that I didn't feel like I was drinking anything harmful and I think it was because the condenser tube was new and there was something

Ideal for distilling well water.

I have pumped about 20 gallons (20 cycles) of well water so far. I actually really like that thing. It is easy to clean and maintain. Our fountain has a regular activated carbon filter for the whole house. So when we run a cycle through this thing, there's usually quite a lot of sediment left on the bottom. Rough! My digital PPM tester is constantly testing from 001 to 002. The water just seems to me to be as it should be. A few tips when buying this. Fill it with hot water, which heats up…

Easy to use but not 100% pure water and tedious to clean

The machine is good value and very easy to use. I measured the tap water before distillation and it was 193 ppm (TDS) and after distillation it was 26 ppm. It's very amazing! I expected distilled water to be zero. I tested filtered water (zero ppm) and store-bought distilled water (zero ppm). So not too happy it's still showing significant particles. In addition, it forms limescale deposits in the aquarium quite quickly and is not easy to clean. I see that I need to clean it after I've…
