Feel Great With Care

Let me start by saying they have helped my plantar fasciitis feel so much better in a few days. One of the few methods that noticeably improves well-being. So they work. However, I have a few complaints that mitigate the whole nice feeling: 1. Why can't they get smaller? Read the reviews here to choose your "right" size. I did and they fit great (I have a 9.5 so I ordered a 10.5)2. they creak. Did it from day one. Bad enough that I have black shoes that say "ORTHAHEEL" but they also announce my

Not recommended for people with diabetes. . .

I bought these shoes for someone who has both diabetes and plantar fasciitis. While he liked the heel brace and felt it helped him feel better with plantar fasciitis, the downside was that the toe box was too small. In fact, he had a pair of blackened nails on both feet because he was wearing these shoes for the first time. After visiting a doctor, he concluded that due to the size of his toe, the shoes were causing his nails to pull up a bit. Being diabetic and having neuropathy in his feet…

but gray felt a bit more comfortable than white

I've been switching between Vionic Men's Orthaheel Technology White/Navy Walker and Vionic Men's Orthaheel Gray Walker size 13 2E for a little over a year. I don't know why, but the gray ones seemed a bit more comfortable than the white ones. I was happy with these and they helped my pain significantly. I didn't expect to find a better pair of shoes. The only problem was that they looked like high quality "tennis shoes" and I wear pants to work about 3 days a week. Some say they don't last…

Five stars but less than a month to TWO stars

Vionic Men's Walker Gray 11.5 I just love these shoes! I liked the fit so much that I ordered another pair next week. The second pair I ordered didn't fit as well. The right shoe seemed smaller than the left. My normal size is EE 10.5 but after reading the reviews I decided to order a full size up. 11.5 W. The first pair fitted perfectly! I received my first pair on April 1st and have worn them on my daily walk. I particularly liked the arch support which really helped with my leg and back…

Poor workmanship, poor quality

These shoes, while offering amazing arch and heel support, are otherwise poorly made. The rubber comes off easily, the stitching started to unravel after a couple of weeks and the leather was peeling off the sole, all within four months. Since it was summer, I didn't wear them as often as in other seasons. I bought these shoes after reading user reviews and an article highlighting the excellent high arch support. Unfortunately, I've spent more money than ever on these shoes, but they've lasted…

Shoelaces for clothing, shoes and jewelery

Can the shoelaces be made a few centimeters longer? Another inch or two and I could wrap the laces around my waist and still have enough left over to tie them. Seriously, why are the laces so long? Also, the shoes are comfortable if you take the advice to order one size up. UPDATE: My legs hurt after two days of wearing them. So I stopped wearing them and went back to my previous pair. A month later I tried again and this time my legs only hurt every other day. Returning to the previous pair…

Looks good but your order amount is larger

Only time will tell how this shoe performs for me on a daily basis. However, I felt it was important to let potential buyers know that the reviewers who recommend you go up the size are absolutely correct. I wore a size 11.5 for most of my adult life and only bought a 12 when I came across brands that worked on the small side. After reading the reviews I immediately ordered a size 12. Well, even they were too tight. There are no half sizes larger than a 12 so I changed the first pair to a size…

Great shoe but is not true to size

I wear a size 11.5 medium wide in 99% of my shoes. I bought my first Vionics 3 months ago, flip flops size 11.5. Fantastic fit and comfort! My second pair had size 11.5 flip flops. Brilliant! My third was sneakers but 11.5 was too small so I took 12. I returned them after one of the eyelets came loose and the paint inside the shoe soiled my socks. I ordered a size 12 hiking shoe that I am reviewing and my big toe is being pressed against the front of the shoe. All I can say is that the Vionics…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative present

I usually wear a size 11 {if I can find a wide one}. in sports shoes from Nike or New Balance. I just bought my second pair of Vionic Men's Orthoheel Technology size 11½ 2E and they fit me perfectly. I have a partially pinched nerve in my lumbar spine and need to restrain the leg I'm standing on or I'll feel a shooting pain from my glutes through my right leg to my ankle. I've tried 5 or 6 "orthopedically cushioned" shoes; These Vionics allow me a much better time to spend time in the kitchen…
