Colors are nice but the black has faded a bit after washing. It's more like a blanket than a blanket. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the shams are so small. It is difficult to fit even a standard pillow in it. The duvet fits my double bed.

I was expecting cotton not poly and it's my fault for not reading the ad critically. Glad it was washed twice with fabric softener. When new out of the box it was stiff and not at all comfortable. Not a very soft comforter and the colors faded immediately and even ran in cold water on the first wash. I would not buy again.

I bought a king bed for a queen bed because I wanted it to be longer than the bedspread. That's great! Instead of a blanket, I put a plain black blanket underneath her. I also bought a black skirt. I have used king size pillows for quilted pads and regular queen size pillows for sleeping. The set looks better in reality than in the photo. So far I am satisfied and I bought it at a great price.

I washed things in short wash mode with 1C white vinegar. It disinfects, softens and preserves the color of the material. I then washed with my regular detergent and fabric softener and then tumble dried on low heat. I didn't fade or bleed and the softness is what you would expect from this type of duvet. So I wanted to love it I mean it has moose on it what not to love. I've washed it twice since I bought it about 2 months ago. The seams came undone in several places. It's really easy. I wouldn't call it a quilt either because it's all a printed piece. The pads are also a bit small for a regular sized pillow. I checked it out thoroughly and found it to be lightweight, just what I was looking for. When it gets cold, we use an electric blanket. I ordered a king bed to replace my queen bed. This is a great fit; The sides overlap the side slits a bit, and the length can overlap the foot, but I thought they just touch.
