🚰 Optimized Vitapur Long Life Multi-Stage Filter Review

I couldn't seal my Vitapur jug well. Tried a couple of times to make sure everything is tight, if the rubber bands are in place, tried old and new bands, but it always drips. No bueno.

Incorrect usage. It's too late to return now. The filter is very slow and almost clogged and I also see yellowish spots on the plastic case. Don't know if that got fixed or not. Now I have to order another one.

I have bought several of these filters and they have worked great. However something changed and I had to send one back and the one I received turned out to be defective. It just doesn't filter the water like the old ones and the water just doesn't taste fresh and clean. Too bad I don't know of any other replacement that would fit my water cooler.

Ordered despite reading the reviews. I ordered the original filter block and everything was great. After ordering this replacement filter, I soaked it as directed, but it still had an odd taste. The weird taste stayed for some toppings (a couple of months), now it seems better. It's frustrating that you can't find another source for a better product. I love the idea of filtering this way, but if the filters aren't good I might have to go back to bottles.

Repurchased in March, With a water tank that goes further. In August, the original filter that came with the kit filtered the water very slowly. I replaced the first one but the second one has the same problem. I've been using these filters for about 2 years now and have never had any problems, I've always followed the instructions. Soak for 30 minutes, rinse, shake gently, fix, done. After both filters were submitted, I filled in the top part.
