It didn't work for me

I bought this in hopes it would fix my bell but the string diameter was too small to match what I already have. So I haven't used it, but it looks like a good line

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Please note that 1mm is very small.

This product is a nice thick thread when pulled taut. In the flat (slack) position, this is probably the claimed 1mm size. I'm sure it would be very good for sewing sailboat sails or something like that. But it's too small for the purpose I had in mind. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's probably a decent product if used properly for its size.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Too thin for my blinds

I read a review that said you should use a pencil to measure the cord size required and it was completely inaccurate! That was fine, but keep in mind that on my 2" wooden blinds, the cord doesn't "catch" on the gear box so I couldn't lock the blinds in the up position. I ordered 1.8mm from another supplier (I don't think that supplier had that thickness) and it worked fine.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add later
