I've always removed upholstery/door panel clips using a flathead screwdriver and my fingers, leaving lots of blisters and bloody hands. falling under it, as well as reducing scratches caused by using tools that are not designed for them. All in all, this is now one of my favorite tools for car electrical/audio work.
