no base in interior care

came without base in the package, so it could not be used. The instructions say there is a socket to attach the weatherstrip to the windshield, there is no socket. There are 2 O-Rings 2 Razor Blades 1 Cleaning Cloth 3 Adhesive Seals 1 Syringe 2 Curing Films 1 UV Light 1 Super Glue with a fancy stand. I thought the stand might be a pedestal, but the base is wider than the o-ring and there is no hole in it. so no pedestal. I have no idea if it would work

Pros
  • interior care
Cons
  • operating speed

Don't expect great results

Trying to use this to repair cut vinyl on a boat seat. First the glue was dried to a hard, rubbery mass. Then there was hardly enough white paint. Of course, our color matching ability left a lot to be desired. Then the little tool you heat by bringing it to the iron didn't work. It continued to warm up, but the paint was still trying to pull away from the grainy paper. It can end up sealing the whole mess with duct tape.

Pros
  • Vinyl Cleaner
Cons
  • Replaceable

Waste of money and time

Waste of money and time. I was trying to repair a cracked Toyota Sienna dashboard. Before proceeding with the repair, I practiced on the old vinyl using the heating method. Following the instructions in the letter, I could never get the mixture to stick to the vinyl and not the contact paper, even when the temperature was reduced to the iron's minimum temperature. I then attempted to repair the dashboard by waiting for the mixture to set overnight without heating, but removing the stencil paper

Pros
  • Car care
Cons
  • Slightly dented
